Hi Konrad,
For the moment we do the selection only in regards to the nominal flow of each Zeparo and selecting the one for
which the desired flow is the closest of this nominal flow.
In the past (2011) we had some Excel sheets with this nominal flow varying in regards to the velocity and we had a
correction in 2014 but only for the nominal and max flow.
I need to check with some people to confirm if we continue the selection in this way or if we need to improve a little
taking into account the velocity.
I keep you in touch as soon as I have new for this point.
And also, ZIO F PN16 are out of range but not yet the PN 10 version.

Because ZIO PS 16bars was phased out we need to change in to ZG.

During the process we got remark from Sebastian Schweers that ZIO dn 250 was not right selected due to high
velocity.
And now we are confused what selection procedure is the right way. Nominal flow or velocity.

I am not sure to have well understood your question.
For the selection of ZIO we take into account only the nominal flow of the valve and we determine the size in
regards to the computed pipe size.
The velocity is not taken into account for the selection.
If I look at the previous emails the problem is the change of one ZIOF 250 by ZIO 250 or ZG 250. And the user doesn't
want a pressure drop over 100mbar.
If it's the case, the only thing I can tell you is that with the ZIO 250 the pressure drop for 265m3/h is about 6kPa (60
mbar < 100mbar).
For the ZG I have no data to estimate the pressure drop. But if I remember well, the pressure drop will be higher
with G-Force.
