After completing the above 4 steps, you can display the datasource to confirm if your
DataSource is able to support “Complete update” and “delta update” as below.
Disable infoStructure updating if you have not done so.

Check control table TMCBIW to confirm the delta is active (field: BIW active) and the
activate delta table (field: BIW status). In this example, the active delta table is S860BIW1.
All changes to PO should go to this table for delta update in BW.
Before changing PO, the table S860BIW1 and S860BIW2 should be empty. You can check
it using TCode: SE16.
PO detail part:
Ignore warning message and click Save.
If you cannot create new PO for any reason, use update method to modify an existing PO.
You can modify existing PO by using TCode: ME22N. Change the existing PO quantity
and Save. (You can select another PO by press Shift + F5 and then choose another PO in
the pull-down list.)
After you save the changes, you will be able to see the changed records in table S860BIW1
Go back to R3, check the control table: TMCBIW. The active delta table is changed to 2
(S860BIW2).
Run RSA7, to check the delta queue. The data have been successfully passed to BW and
the table content for this data source will be empty. If it shows red, the data in delta queue
will stay and it will be ready for delta repeat.
If the check S860BIW1, the data will remain as it was until you run the next delta
infoPackge on BW side.
In this example, if you enter new PO, the data will go to S860BIW2.
After you run another delta infoPackage on BW side, the data in table S860BIW1 will be
removed and the active delta table in the LIS control table TMCBIW will be 1 again.
