4. Opening Doors through Literacy

4.1 Non-Formal Education - Free Education for Impoverished

Children

TMF is providing free education, books, uniforms, and stationery to the poor
children. One teacher one school system with multi grade teaching constitutes the
best mode of spreading light of education at the grass roots level.

4.2 Formal Education - Educating the Youth

Model Schools provide affordable formal primary and secondary level schooling to
students who have merit but little means. Currently 14,416 students are studying
in our schools. Our passing percentage in board examination is over 80%.

4.3 Technical Education

Two Technical Institutes at Khewra (Jehlum) and TMCE (Attock) offer short
courses (plumbing, welding, quantity surveyor and home appliances repair &
maintenance) as well as 3 years diploma (Electrical, Civil, and Dress Designing).

4.4 Vocational Training Centers (VTC)

TMF has established VTC that offer various short courses towards skills
development.

5. Expected Outcome

By providing student sponsorships, TMF reduces the cost of education to impoverished

families, enabling parents to send all their children to school. Education will enhance their
