Notes to Keep In Mind
While these personnel are considered the
mainstays of the Raleigh Dailey trio, it is
customary for other musicians to cycle
through depending on scheduling.

➔ Presentational Music
Playing at restaurants, private events,
faculty/local concerts

➔ Genre: Jazz (contemporary and

traditional — a wide range)
They play original works, most of which
are composed by Raleigh, but when
playing restaurant gigs, it is customary
to call “standards,” which are
important/popular works to the jazz
repertoire
Game Plan for Documentary:
● Get interviews with each member of the trio and get footage of them teaching AND
playing so we can splice videos together of them both performing and doing their
everyday jobs.
● What we have so far:
○ We have gotten footage of the trio playing at Tony’s in downtown Lexington and
have gotten an audio recording of most of the first set.
● We still have to do interviews and get some footage of them rehearsing (if possible)
● Roles (we will work together in various capacities as the needs arise):
○ Dee White: Editing
○ Joe: Interviewing
○ Khalil: Filming
○ Jacob: Getting audio
● Questions we plan to ask
