Perception of Teenage Solo Parents to Guidance and Counseling

ABSTRACT

This study will investigate on the perspective of teenage solo parents to guidance and

counseling. Teenage solo parenting is very rampant nowadays and is also one of the highlighted

issues in the society. The participants will be selected in a highly populated barangay in Cebu

City. The participants will be solo female parents aged 14-17 from the certain barangay.

Qualitative research methods specifically in-depth interview and purposive sampling will be

utilized to make sure the participants to be selected are relevant to the study. This paper will

tackle on the views of a teenage solo parent towards guidance and counseling to further

provide necessary information related to the consolidated result of the study. A factual

explanation about the research containing the recommendation and corrected information

based on the perception of the participants will be presented at the end of this paper. The
