INTRODUCTION

Interstellar films revolve around 50 years from now, this film tells the story of human
efforts to search for planets that might be used as new dwellings for humans. Earth at that time
had begun to be unsuitable for human habitation and the only food crop that existed was corn,
other food crops could not grow due to climate change, soil and air conditions that were not even
healthy even for humans. Problems that exist, corn will soon not be able to survive and will die
because of the constantly changing soil and atmospheric conditions, the last hope? Look for
other planets that humans can live in.
The story of this story is depicted around the year 2060-2070, not the present condition, at
that time, the earth was damaged, the military was not needed and humans returned to the basic
needs of eating. The problem is that only food crops that can survive at that time are corn. Other
plants do not want to grow, if forced to plant rice or wheat will die young.
Cooper has two children, a boy named Tom Coper. Tom is quite mature and clever in
farming, while Murphy's second child prefers science and is very close to his father. Murphy
often told his father that there was a ghost on his bookshelf, he even said that it seemed the ghost
wanted to communicate with him. On another occasion, during a large dust storm, Murphy saw a
pattern of dust in his room which turned out to be the coordinates of a location. When visited, the
location turned out to be NASA's secret office. at that time, the Institute was indeed not very
important because the space project was considered a waste of government budget. However,
NASA will still publish the last mission because 10 years before they had sent 3 astronauts to 3
planets in another galaxy through a wormhole.
The data obtained states that the 3 planets are habitable. Cooper here is an astronaut and
engineer must lead the last team to check the existence of the planet and make sure which planet
is the most suitable for humans to live in. Murphy did not agree with his father's decision to
leave, because he did not know when to return, even the "GHOSTS" in his room told Morse code
which was translated as "STAY". However, Cooper doesn't care and keeps going.
Mission Coper and his team must check which of these 3 planets is most likely to check
whether the sent astronauts are still alive.
The next problem is faced with the fact that the planet planet surrounds the Blackhole. One
of the closest planets is the planet Miller, which turns out to be a water planet half a meter deep,
but the waves of water can reach hundreds of meters (can be seen in the trailer). Miller, the
astronauts sent to this planet have died. Because of the proximity of the planet to blackhole, there
is a time dilation. One hour on this planet is 7 years on earth, they have accidents and are late
leaving the planet, they need 3 hours more than 23 years more on earth.
After Cooper was thrown into a black hole, he was trapped in Tasseract. Tasseract is the
nature of 5D, while we are human beings in 4D. A brief description of dimensions I explain as
follows: 1 dimension is a straight line between two points, 2 dimensions are fields, for example
rectangles, or triangles, 3D such as balls, squares etc., and we live in a 3-dimensional field. Then
what is 4D, 4D is spacetime. Space and time are in fact one entity. Imagine if the incident was
cut into pieces and placed by your own space. nature 5D describes time as a space box in a
certain range.
Cooper can only communicate with Murph through Gravity. Do you still remember the
ghost who sent the message "STAY" to murph? It turns out that all this time "GHOSTS" in the
murph room are his father who is trapped in a 5-dimensional realm. The time on the 5D has no
effect, it doesn't exist first and now, you are there there is no beginning and end and you can go
anywhere either in the future or in the past, because the 5D world comes out of the time
dimension. From here there is also a religious value, that God must exist. Because time itself is a
divine creation, it is very strange if someone asks "who created God?" because it is not
Scientific, the concept of God does not start and end it scientifically when viewed from the 5D
room.
Essentially here, Cooper communicates with murph by manipulating gravity using morse
code. Cooper finally returns to 3D and is thrown into the area around Saturn. The question is
how can he survive and how come that is so? it's a mystery even scientifically it's hard to refute
or prove that nobody has ever been to wormhole or blackhole. What is clear is that Cooper was
thrown into the future around 85 years in the future where little Murphy had become a
grandmother while Cooper himself was still a middle-aged man because he thought that outside
time was running slower.

2. DISCUSSION

Film analysis with technological developments in Indonesia, and connectivity with cases in
Indonesia. Interstellar is a film that tells about the earth 50 years from now and is a fictional film.
If asked whether the development of Indonesian technology can be like in the film? In my
opinion it might be in the next 50 years but it is very difficult for Indonesia to have the
technology as in the film. Very very difficult when viewed from the development of Indonesian
technology now. Not only from technology, from SDA or experts to be able to go into space like
the film is still very minimal. Not even an Indonesian astronaut has gone into space until now.
For all the theories contained in interstellar films is indeed a physical and scientific theory. And
the problem in Indonesia is that physicists or great scientists like the film are very, very minimal.
So far the technology that has developed in Indonesia has not been able to make the nation
proud, meaning that there is no worldwide Indonesian technology. In a communication or
electronic technology shutter that has mushroomed in the era of globalization, now there are no
Indonesian products to be proud of. Indeed there are Indonesian technologies that can be
enjoyed, but only to the extent that they are local. Interstellar films that tell the search for new
planets to be inhabited by humans in the future and travel in space, this has never been done and
indeed there has never been any country that sent astronauts or so through blackhole or
wormhole. Even for countries that have advanced space technology equipment, they have never
done so, especially for Indonesia.
 If it is associated with cases in Indonesia, from this fictional film Indonesia has never
carried out space travel and for cases on earth running out of food until now, thank God
Indonesia still has abundant sources of agriculture.

3. CLOSING

In conclusion, Indonesia in the next 50 years might be able to make space trips like in
interstellar films, but again when viewed from technology in Indonesia today, it is very very
difficult to happen. Not only from technology, but also from SDA it is difficult. But again if we
think positively that things can happen in the future, we never even know. Space travel will
definitely require enormous costs, maybe even many times the income of Indonesia's per capita.
If you look at the current economic conditions in Indonesia and for the next 50 years to do space
travel, that will make it even more difficult. Film Interstellar is a science fiction film set around
2060-2070, this has not happened yet. In my opinion, it is not only Indonesia that is difficult to
travel outside of numbers, maybe even developed countries like America will find it difficult if
they want to do space travel.
