PLN 1, Teaching Tolerance Facebook Page:

A page I like on Facebook is called "Teaching Tolerance". This organization was created in Alabama
and their goal is to help schools, teachers, and anyone else in the education field to educate the
children, youth, and students to be participants and understand the roles in a diverse
democracy/community. They were founded in 1991 and provides educators with free educational
materials to do so. I enjoy this page because they aren't creating conflict or arguments, they are just
simply trying to educate the young about diverse matters and important history that goes along with
that while they also focus on all ages, not a specific age group. I recently learned from them that
recently it was World Book Day and this time they included more diverse books. Their reasoning for
doing this was because they believe that students as they read not only place themselves in that book
but also to better understand in the perspective of others.

PLN 2, Organized Classroom Blog:

This is a website online that also includes a blog. This blog is called "Organized Classroom. They
include things such as ways to make a classroom more efficient/fun, how to do homework more
enjoyable, lesson plan activities, and most importantly making the teacher's lives easier while also
making the classroom more fun and organized. This website is operated by over 400,000 teachers who
come to the website whether it is to give their ideas or to find new ones to try. I like this blog because
it is teachers helping other teachers in a way that can benefit not only them but everyone. I recently
learned from this blog that along with classroom management comes with building character
activities. They also include on their blog teaching tips, technology, and classroom DIY's.

PLN 3, Connected Learning Alliance Twitter Alliance:

I follow a twitter account called "Connected Learning Alliance". This page was created by a group in
southern California who describe themselves as a group who wants to "promote equity, access, and
opportunity for all learners". I enjoy looking at this twitter page because their reasoning behind every
post is for something positive or uplifting to come out of it. Almost all of their tweets are not just a
little sentence or paragraph on the topic, but they also attach a link that will take you to a full article
they have wrote so you can get more information on the topic/tweet. A big continuous topic that keeps
appearing on their page is how technology can be beneficial in the classroom. I recently learned from
an article of theirs how video games can amplify learning by creating higher problem-solving skills.

PLN 4, Homeroom Blog:

I found an online blog called "HOMEROOM". It is used to create conversation, inform people and
talk about education issues occurring around the United States. They publish their own stories, but
they allow people to be involved by commenting or suggesting on the topics on what they think about
it but also by hearing suggestions from people on what they should cover next. This is very beneficial
to anyone in the educational field because they can stay on top of what is going on with their field. I
enjoy this blog because I think it is an easy and efficient way for educators to stay up to date on what
is going on and it gives them a chance to give their input on the topic. I recently learned from their
blog about the topic of the opportunity to learn in different ways. This article main focus was finding a
unique way for your students to learn so it results in a way that the students will be excited to come to
school and learn. I really enjoyed it because I think it will benefit me in my goals of becoming a
teacher.

type of teacher in general. She gives lesson plans, fun activities, and how bringing love into the
classroom can help special Ed kids comprehend better while also while having a good time. The most
