Internal Analysis of Mops
1. Strengths

 In Pakistan only few manufacture of mops are available, and mostly from them also
producing it only for import purpose not for selling in domestic market.

 Best textile firm is only manufacturing mops right now so it will be easy to launch our
product in the domestic market.

 Mops have a big volume business in the world. And it is also a good price taker product.

2. Weaknesses

 Mops are handmade product and little labor manufacture is available for this product.

 Low cost product and due to less labor available it is also time consuming product.

 Import of mops is badly affected by Government rules like high duty and high taxes on
exporter, which discourages exporters.

3. Opportunity

 The usage of mops can be increase among people by create awareness among them in
Pakistan.

 Make some good policies like sell mops on low prices first than increase its prices.

 We don’t have too many competitors in the market so it will make easy for us to sell
in the market.

4. Threats

 The biggest threat for us in this business is that its failure chances are very high.
Because in Pakistan house hold women are using old cloths for cleaning and dusting
etc. they are not aware of this product so it is very risky to change their preferences.
