-how much do their parents give for school?
-how did they spend their money in school?
-do the money their parents gave is enough?

-if not, how much more do they need?
2. Teacher tells students to differentiate their needs and wants even
during their meal time.
3. Teacher introduces the topic “Impulse Buying”.
STEP 1
1. Teacher recaps the different between needs and wants.
2. Students watch a video about impulse buying.
3. Students answer ‘fill in the blank’ question based on the video
watched earlier.
4. Students and teacher discuss the answers.
STEP 2
1. Teacher explains the instruction for second activity.
2. Students are to sit in groups
3. Teacher distributes a “needs & wants” exercise to each group.
4. Students need to fill the exercise with at least 5 needs and wants

STEP 3
1. Students are to remain in the same group.
2. Teacher distributes a mahjong paper and a marker pen to each
group.
3. Teacher gives a situation and two choices for students to choose.
4. Students will make a choice and write it on the mahjong paper.
5. Each group will present their answer to the class
6. Teacher will discuss any errors they make in the presentation.
