the Everlasting Kingdom, it is most certainly that of suffering, patiently endured.”
Justine Bergancia - 01/26/17 – 6A
About Her She was born on January 13, 1381, in Corbie, Picardy, France
She’s the patron saint of women who
want to have children, expectant mothers, and sick children.
Her feast day is March 6
On September 17, 1402, she locked
herself in a room with only one window so she could focus on prayer
She received a vision where St.
Francis of Assisi told her to restore the Rule of St. Clare
She was known for her devotion to
Jesus Christ, as she fasted every Friday, meditated on the Passion, and after taking the Communion, she would go into a religious trance
She founded 17 convents, a
community of nuns
She died on March 6, 1447 of old age
Her Virtues She always praised Jesus, and followed all of his laws. o We can do the same by praying to Jesus more than just at school and at church.
She never gave up: she spread the
message of holiness her whole life, even as she was insulted and fought against. o We can be the same by not giving up when faced with a challenge.
She was generous: at age 17, she gave
all of the money she had to the poor. o We can be the same by choosing kind, sharing with our classmates, and helping others in need. Why I Chose This Prayer to St.
Saint Nicolette
I originally chose this saint because she
Glorious Saint Nicolette, shares my name, but after researching her, I I beseech you
realized that she is an inspirational woman, through the burning love which
inflamed your heart for Jesus
and that she is someone that I can learn in the Most Holy Sacrament, from. through the marvelous graces
