Background : Drugs are substances that affect the structure or function of some parts of the
body of people who consume them.

Aim : To know factors related with drug abuse to teenagers in YAYASAN KELOMPOK
PEDULI PENYALAHGUNAAN NARKOTIKA DAN OBAT-OBATAN TERLARANG
(YKP2N) MAKASSAR

Method : The design of this study used an analytical survey with cross sectional study approach.
The data obtained were analyzed by fisher test.

Result : There is a correlation of personality factor with drug abuse in teenagers with p value =
0,031 ≤ (p, α = 0,05). There is a family factor relation with drug abuse in teenagers with p value
= 0,02 ≤ (p, α = 0,05). There is association factor of peer with drug abuse in teenagerst with
value p = 0,03 ≤ (p, α = 0,05).

Conclusion : There is a personality factor correlation with drug abuse in adolescents. There is a
family-related factor with drug abuse in adolescents. There is a factor relationship peers with
drug abuse in adolescents.
