 Chapter 1 Abstract

1.1 Abstract
Central Monitor is the medical information equipment widely used in the clinical
environment, it usually consists of the central monitoring system software and high
efficiency hardware server,. The central monitoring system can make up of
monitoring network system together with many monitors,. It is located in the central
place in whole monitoring network system, responsible for collecting, processing,
analysising and outputting monitoring information from many bedside monitors, to
realize centralized monitoring.
The Central System can connect all monitor which supply the network agreement, A set of
Monitoring system can connect at most 64 bedside monitor at the same time. A screen can display
8 information of bedside machine. Each bedside machines take 1/8 room. User can choose any 8
bedside machines for showing when bedside machine more than 8.
Central monitor can used as monitoring NIBP ， PR ， SpO2 ， ECG ， RESP,
Temp of patient. Functions of 24 hours’ waveform storage and review provided by the
system, make doctors convenient scanning patients’ latest 24 hour waveform,
especially ECG, and easy for them to master patients’ physical condition,
The central monitoring system can support various external device like printer,
outputting monitoring report.

1.2 Installation
1.Two connecting model:
(1)Wire connecting：Wire connect all bedside machine，via Switch，then sent
signal to central station。
(2)Wireless connecting ：Equip a wireless router beside each bed. Install Switch
and wireless router in central station can also achieve monitoring network.
2.Prepare computer, start, install central monitoring software.
3.After finished software install. insert locking set on USB, Central monitoring
system can be opened.
4.Insert network card, fill in TCP/IP agreement.
5.Set IP Address as 192.168.2.1 and subnet mask :255.255.255.0

≧1G,Hard drive≧160G,DVD-ROM.
Systems: Windows XP.
Display:17 or 19 inch color LED display.
Printer Laser Printer, Support A4 paper printing.
Software：
Display parameter：ECG, ST, HR,RESP, NIBP, SPO2,PR, TEMP.
Waveform：ECG、RESP、SPO2。
Alarm:. Three Level Light and Sound Double Alarm, Scalable external alarm speakers
Printing Playback Printing，Trend Printing，Waveform Printing

3.1 Central station main screen instruction

1 Install software and locking set, fill in IP agreement, open software as
following picture.
2 Central station display can display at least two of eight beds at a time,
besides, a server bed information can be displayed

8 option bottom of screen, switch to other bed information

4.1.Main Screens
find ”screen setting” option on bottom of display. and double click ,enter setting screen.
This time you can modify bed order, ECG wave speed,rangeleads,SpO2 wave speed, You can
also modify quantity of bed display （2~8）and server bed.

4.2 Bedside machine

1. Open software,, double click right bottom ”bedside machine”, display following

3.After finished above data setting, click “Send “

4.3 Patient case database

1.Open software ， double click case database can scan information of patient this machine
monitored..

2. Click can view Last/Next patient information

3. Click Update/Modify patient information, appear following window

4. Window appear, then can edit patient information.
5. Click “Add new”, Window Add new appear, add new case, Now you can edit patient
information.. Click “Save & Send” finish setting.
6. Click “Trend Table”, Open Trend table, Use see Last/Next Page

7. Input “Patient NO” and “Date” can find appointed bed.

8. Click “Trend wave”, appear trend wave window, Use see Last/Next Page

4.4Trend Review
1.Trend Review can show figure before one time.
2.Open Software, Click “Trend Review””

3This window show one time HR,BP,SPO2,Temp data.

4.Input” Patient NO” seek appointed patient information.

 Chapter 5 Channel Operation
1. Choose any Channel, Single-clicks the right mouse button
2. This operation can work for Chapter 4 Setting Operation and also for Remote Operation.
