This document provides information about a Green Belt training program that aims to develop practitioners who can conduct or participate in Six Sigma projects. The 8-day training program teaches participants how to apply Six Sigma improvement methodology and statistical tools to identify and resolve problems in their organization. Attendees will learn topics like probability, statistics, process mapping, and improvement techniques. The goal is for employees selected for Green Belt roles to gain competency in Six Sigma concepts and tools and eventually become Black Belts leading projects.

Green Belt training serves two purposes. First, it trains team
members to function as part of an effective Six Sigma team; and second, it begins to prepare them to lead projects and eventually become future Black Belts.
Build a cadre of Green Belts equipped to conduct or
participate in Six Sigma projects. Participants will learn when and how to use the Six Sigma tools. A statistical package will be used to help Green Belts carry out projects. This unique 8-day Green Belt training program develops Green Belt or “Black Belt Lite” Six Sigma practitioners. COURSE OBJECTIVES
