“Gravity’’
So what do we know about gravity?
We know that it causes any two
objects in the universe to be drawn to
one another. We know that gravity
assisted in forming the universe, that
it keeps the moon in orbit around the
Earth, and that it can be harnessed You see but do
for more mundane applications like
gravity-powered motors or not observe it.
gravity-powered lamps .At that part
we have to know about gravity and
how does it work?
Definition:

The force that attracts a body toward the center of the

earth, or toward any other physical body having mass. For
most purposes Newton's laws of gravity apply, with minor
modifications to take the general theory of relativity into
account.

Who describe the gravity?

Albert Einstein, who won the Nobel Prize in

Physics in 1921, contributed an alternate theory
of gravity in the early 1900s. It was part of his
famous General Theory of Relativity, and it
offered a very different explanation from
Newton's Law of Universal Gravitation. Einstein
didn't believe gravity was a force at all; he said it
was a distortion in the shape of space-time,
otherwise known as "the fourth dimension" (see
How Special Relativity Works to learn about
space-time).
How gravity affect humans?
Humans evolved with gravity, and gravity affects human physiology and general
health. All life on Earth evolved to live with the Earth's gravity, and humans are no
exception. As a result, human muscles, bones and various systems depend on gravity to
function properly. Before the United States and the USSR launched astronauts into
space, they tried to study the effects of weightlessness on astronauts.
Potential vs Kinetic Compare

Potential Energy: Definition: Kinetic Energy: Definition:

the energy of a body or a system with In physics, the kinetic energy of an object is the
respect to the position of the body or the energy that it possesses due to its motion. It is
arrangement of the particles of the defined as the work needed to accelerate a
body of a given mass from rest to its stated

of motion — when the person lets it go, and
it drops to the ground.
