Instruction: The class will be divided into groups. Each group will think
of words about justice that begin with each letter of the given word.

Anti lynching crusader, suffragist, women’s right advocate,
journalist and speaker.
One of the nation’s uncompromising leaders.
Most ardent defenders of democracy.
Born in Holy Springs Mississippi in 1862.
Died on 1931 at Illinois
She has six siblings
Mother- famous cook; father- skilled carpenter.
Tragic epidemic of yellow fever killed her parents and youngest
sibling.
Attended nearby Rust College and moved to Memphis to live with
her aunt and younger sisters.
