1. Set up a network connection

X5 pro can be connected to a router both via cable and wirelessly. Wired connection can be
achieved by using an Ethernet cable, connecting the onboard port and your modem.
Wireless can be achieved by plugging in the attached WiFi Adapter; after initial setup, the
system will connect automatically with your wireless router.

For initial wireless setup, please first connect the device to a router, and connect a phone or
a computer to the same network. Make sure that the WiFi adapter is plugged into an
available USB port. After the device boots (30 seconds), type in opera.local/ in your browser
(recommended for Mac: Safari; recommended for PC: Google Chrome) to enter the user
interface. For Android, please download the dedicated “Opera” APP.

Enter the user interface (pic1); then, press the button and choose the NETWORK
option (pic2).

Select WiFi name, enter your password and press (pic3).The upper-right hand corner

(pic4) will show "Wireless restart, Wireless successful restarted." It means that the WiFi
setup is successful.

When you see these information (pic5) remove the Ethernet cable and turn power off.

2. How to play
1. Plug in a storage device (USB or hard disk) on one of the available USB2.0 ports. The
device takes about 40 seconds to boot, and make sure the cellphone (Pad or computer) is
connected to the same network. Open the browser, enter “opera.local/”into the address bar
(Android system please download the dedicated “Opera” APP (…link).

2. First enter the option (pic6).You can find the music album folders and tracks from

four different options: Music Library, Artists, Albums, and Genres in local USB memory. If
there is an NAS connected to the network you can also browse it. There are many Internet
radio stations to choose from in “WEBRADIO”. You can also add your own stations.

3. After you find the music, click the button on the right side of the album folder or track.

Album folder has a few modes:“Play,” “Clear and play” (direct playback),“Add to queue,” and
“Add to playlist.”For single tracks there is an "Add to favourites" mode.

4. In Queue, you can see different playlist. It has 4 playback modes: random play,

loop, save playlist, and cancel playlist.

5.Web Radio has five options (pic11).You can add the Radio station in “My Web
Radio”(pic12, pic13).When you right click options you can select playback mode(pic14).

6. When you plug DVD Rom to X5 pro, you can play CD directly (pic15,pic16).

You also can rip CD to the memory. The memory should be renamed as “OPERA” in
computer. (pic17~19)

7. If you want to Add the Network Devices, please press the button and choose Add
New Drive in the My Music option (pic20).

8. Enter playback (pic21), and you can see the currently playing track information,

including album art, track information, and schedule .


Playback function buttons are— next, return to the previous, pause/play,

Favorite, random play, loop, create playlists, and software volume adjust
(default none).
