We are contacting you in reference to the application, processing and issuance of all immigration documents required
for you to legally enter, live and work here in the United Kingdom. We have been contacted by your Employer in this
regard and they have also sent us your Employment Agreement. In accordance with the amendment to the
Immigration, Asylum, and Nationality Act of 2006, effective from 29 February, 2008 which clearly states that all
employee seeking to live and work in the United Kingdom who are currently Non-British Citizen and Non-Resident
in the United Kingdom are required to provide Proof of Right to Live and Work in the United Kingdom. Herewith are
detailed information regarding the application, processing and procurement of all required immigration documents.

In accordance with the British Constitution of 1963 reform section 102 Act Decree 881 of the Federal Law of
Immigration, it is the duty of any Foreign Contractor/Agent/Employee to pay responsibly for the procurement and
acquisition of his/her Foreign Affairs Certificate, Accession Worker Card, Workers Registration Scheme and
National Insurance. According to the Law which is holding the UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI), your Employer
will take the responsibility of obtaining Residence Permit, Work Permit and Visa for you (Employee) while you
(Employee) will carter for all cost relating to your Foreign Affairs Certificate, Accession Worker Card, Workers
Registration Scheme and National Insurance.

We wish to use this medium to inform you of the UK Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and Department of
Expatriate Resources (DER) requirements which states that all Foreign Employee/Workers/Expatriates who intend to
work in United Kingdom must have attained all DER Certifications in various categories with respect to their
employment engagements. The reason for the review of this policy as communicated by the Department of Expatriate
Resources (DER) is to ensure that all Foreign Employee/Workers/Expatriates with Employment Contract do not have
to travel down to United Kingdom for any other reason than the primary aim of commencement of work as required.

The Department of Expatriate Resources (DER) Certifications will cost you the following:
1. Department of Expatriate Resources (DER) Application Form/Approval - £710.00GBP (will be paid by your
employer)
2. Work/Resident Permits Registration fees:
a) Work Permit - £490.95GBP (will be paid by your employer)
b) Resident Permit - £280.00GBP (will be paid by employer)
c) Foreign Affairs Certification - £310.30GBP
d) Workers Registration Scheme (WRS) - £190.00GBP
e) National Insurance (N.I) - £89.90GBP
f) Accession Worker Card - £125.53GBP
3. DER Expatriates Quota Approval Charge in relevant categories £900.00GBP (will be paid by your employer)

Total of £715.73GBP (To be paid by you)

Please note that the Visa Application and Processing Fee and Prepaid Flight Ticket will be undertaken by your
employer.

The charges/fees stated above will enable us commence and finalize the application and processing of all required
immigration documents. As a result of time constraint for Employee/Workers/Expatriates owing to the work
commencement date, please do ensure that you forward the required information, documents and fees needed for the
application, processing and procurement of all required immigration documents on time as this would enable us
initiate the procurement of requisite documents and thereafter we shall inform you on prompt. On successful approval
of your immigration documents, all original (hard) copies of your immigration documents, Employment Agreement,
Appointment Letter, Sponsorship/Invitation Letter and all other supporting employment documents will be packaged
and sent to you via courier delivery service. You will also have to indicate in your response, the convenient hours to
receive package to enable us make appropriate adjustments with the courier delivery service.

You are required to scan and send immediately:


1. International Passport or National Identity Card, (scan and send as email attachment)
Note: Ensure that your International Passport or National Indentity Card is valid for the procurement of your
travel documents.
2. Completed Application Forms that are attached to this email.
3. Payment Receipt (Transfer Slip) for the Application and Processing Fees (£715.73GBP) of your immigration
documents.
4. An Address reachable by courier services for documents delivery after processing and approval.

All other immigration formalities as well as Flight Ticket will be provided by your employer and delivered to you
alongside with all other relevant and supporting documents. All your immigration documents will be processed from
here as this will ensure the swift application, processing and approval of your immigration documents but we will
reach out to our contact in the British High Commission for immediate procurement of any other supporting
document in record time.
NOTE: The processing of requisite documents takes within 5 - 12 working days. As soon as all required immigration
documents have been processed and approved, we shall contact the British High Commission in your country as
regard to schedule of your appointment for the Formal Verification Exercise of your immigration documents, so as to
expedite your relocation arrangements. The exact date and time for the Formal Verification Exercise shall be
communicated to you in due time.

On receipt of your completed application forms, payment receipt (transfer slip) for the application and processing
fees and all other supporting documents for the application and processing of your immigration documents, we shall
immediately effect the application and processing exercise of your immigration documents. Also note that you are
required to fill and send back the scanned copies of completed forms along with all other requirements within five (5)
days of receipt. We do hope that you do understand the content of this e-mail and you are hereby advised to act
accordingly as your maximum cooperation and full compliance to instruction will ensure the swift processing and
approval of your immigration documents.

Please be informed that your prompt response to the above directive is highly imperative.

We have received an email from the Border Force that they have provided you with all that is required for
processing of your immigration documents to begin. They have also provided us with all that is required from
us and we will provide them with these requirements immediately. Please be reminded again that on arrival,
the payment you will make will be reimbursed to you. This is the policy of management so as for foreign
employees to show a level of seriousness in relocating before we commit totally in making travel arrangement
and plans for any foreign employee. We therefore want you to cooperate with the Border Force ASAP by
sending them all that is required from you so that immigration documents processing can commence and other
recruitment proceedings can commence also and be concluded in due time. We anticipate positive news form
you ASAP. Note that the Border Force will book all necessary appointments for you at the embassy in your
country.
