Final Exam Study Guide

Instructions: During the midterm exam you will be expected to provide answers to 4 “key terms” and 2 “essay
questions.” Your instructor will select key terms and essay questions from those listed below.
KEY TERMS must be answered in at least one paragraph (minimum 4 sentences per paragraph). Your
answers must define the term and establish its historical significance.
ESSAY QUESTIONS must be answered in at least three paragraphs (minimum 4 sentences per
paragraph). Your answer must answer all aspects of the question in a clear and convincing manner in
order to receive full points. Please review the rubric for more information.

Cheat Sheet: During the exam you may use one side of a 8.5x11 piece of paper as a “cheat sheet.” If you write
on both sides, you will not be allowed to use your notes during the exam. You may hand write anything and
everything on that piece of paper. Typing is not allowed.
Warning: All cases of plagiarism (attempting to pass off other people’s words as your own) will result in
an automatic failure of the exam.
