Abstract
Music is an art that changes the world and becomes part of human life. Music is wonderful of
many people. Music is a medium of expression and work. The lyric is a part of song. A good
lyric is the one that makes the listerner feel enjoy, either sad and happy song so that able to
understand the meaning with the lyric of message of the song. Meanwhile , for the learning
aspect, this research can makes students or readers are able to learn English more easily. Both
in speaking skill, listening, writing and reading. Besides, the students may spur more
enthusiasm to learn English and to learn because it is done with pleasure. In this study, the
writer chooses Maher Zain's song lyrics "Insha Allah and For The Rest of My Life". Maher
Zain is one of the famous singers who focus on islamic music and have influenced many
people all over the world. The aimsof this study are to find: (1) The general meaning of the
song, (2) The detail meaning of the song and (3) The messages of the song. This research
used descriptive qualitative research design. This study also used the objective approach to
analyze the literature contents of the lyric. The results of the study are: (1) The general
meaning of Maher Zain's song lyrics "Insha Allah and For The Rest of My Life" are about
expression as a Moslem to Allah which as human taughtto always be wiseman with all
thathas beendone throughout his life.(2) The detail meaning of Maher Zain's song lyric "Insha
Allahand For The Rest of My Life" are about the poet begins the song by describing his
feeling to Allah by asking for forgiveness from all mistake and sin. Finally, (3) There are
messages of Maher Zain's song lyric "Insha Allah and For The Rest of My Life" are God will
always accept and forgive all my sins and mistakes his servants, as long as there is no
intention to change towards a better self.
