ORDER:

In the reference 1st read above, based on the final report of Director
General, Anti Corruption Bureau, disciplinary proceedings have been initiated
by framing Article of charges against Sri M.Venkateswarlu, Senior Inspector
(Retd.) worked as MPDO(FAC), Vinjamuru Mandal, Nellore District for the
swindled an amount of Rs.27,088/- by manipulating the entries in the cash
book relating to woman and child welfare on the pretext of purchasing 6
sewing machines for mahila mandali. The Disciplinary case have been
entrusted to Tribunal for Disciplinary Proceedings. The Tribunal for
Disciplinary Proceedings in its inquiry report dt.9.12.2009, have concluded
that, the prosecution proved the charge against the Charged Officer. The
Charged Officer is guilty of the charge framed against him. After following
due procedure, Government have been issued orders for imposing a penalty
of withholding 50% pension permanently against Sri M.Venkateswarlu,
Senior Inspector (Retd.) worked as MPDO(FAC), Vinjamuru Mandal, Nellore
District.

2. In the reference 2nd read above, the Special Commissioner for


Cooperation and Registrar of Cooperative Societies while enclosing the death
certificate of Sri M.Venkateswarlu, Senior Inspector(Retd.) has stated that
Smt. M.Leelavathi, W/o Sri M.Venkateswarlu, Senior Inspector(Retd.) has
submitted an application that her husband Sri M.Venkateswarlu, Senior
Inspector(Retd.) (now expired), died on 12.02.2017 and requested to grant
all the benefits due to her deceased husband.

3. The Government after careful examination of the matter, hereby abate


the disciplinary proceedings against Sri M.Venkateswarlu, Senior Inspector
(Retd.) worked as MPDO(FAC), Vinjamuru Mandal, Nellore District duly
withdrawn the orders issued in the reference 2nd read above, as he expired
on 12.02.2017, subject to recovery of loss if any caused to the Government
(or) misappropriated amount by the deceased Government Servant is
established in such cases, the same can be recovered from terminal benefits
admissible to the legal heirs, as per orders issued in the references 3rd and
4th read above.

4. The Special Commissioner for Cooperation & Registrar of Co-operative


Societies, A.P., Guntur, shall take further necessary action in the matter.
