ok, talking about globalization, what is globalization?

globalization as we know is the process of national integration
between various parts of the world that are interrelated in
economic processes, socio-cultural, and others. in a nutshell
globalization is an era where information and technology
develop, and an era where people get things instantly. As for
the impact for us adolescents, that is, first we can save our
time, secondly we also get broader insight, thirdly we can
communicate. this is a positive impact, if there is a positive
impact there must be a negative impact. As for the negative
impact, namely the first emergence of the nature of
individualism, secondly the diminishing nature of our
nationalism and patriotism, the three teenagers follow a
foreign culture that is not in accordance with our culture.
apart from some of my presentations about globalization, now
I turn to the next discussion, scout. Scout in general is an
abbreviation of young youth Karana, which means young
people who like to work. I feel the matter of scouting may not
have to be continued because we all must have understood it.
The thing that I will discuss here is the link between
globalization and scouts, according to the title I took "how to
increase the interest of teenagers in scout organizations".
facing the era of information and globalization, the existence
of scouts is something that we really need as students through
scout activities can combine our stronghold to face the
influence of foreign influences that are not in accordance with
our culture. many argue that the scout movement is outdated.
there was no longer a new face in the activity of scouting in
the field, even if there was only because they were told or
because they joined in.
now technology is increasingly sophisticated. people do not
need to bother communicating using Morse and Smaphore
like in scouts, enough with a cellphone then this can be
overcome. first the scout members learned scout from people
who were experienced but now more are learning scout using
sophisticated technology.
Therefore we as members of scouts who love this organization
must find ways to prevent such things from happening
continuously, so we must have creative innovations in order
to remain able to attract the attention of other teenagers.
being a movement that is flexible, fun, and certainly does not
leave its function. besides that it is also supported by
management which can be a role model for new members
later.
Scouts must be able to be the driving force of the character
education of young people and also have to be able to become
a breakthrough in eroding the sense of nationalism.
