O Shiva, Grant my request so that I may never deviate from doing good deeds

That I shall never have fear of the enemy when I go into battle
and with determination I will be victorious
That I may teach my mind and body to only sing your praises
And when the time comes
I shall die fighting heroically on the field of battle

We shall fight on the beaches,

we shall fight on the landing grounds,
we shall fight on the fields and in streets,
we shall fight in the hills,
we shall never surrender.
