1.0 PURPOSE

This paperwork is submitted to propose on the consideration and approval for joining the
National Robotics Competition 2019 (NRC)

2.0 INTRODUCTION

National Robotics Competition is an annual event where teams from all over Malaysia compete.
This competition uses LEGO as the main medium of material. There are multiple categories
which include Regular, Open, Football, and also Simple Powered Machines. Every year, there is
a theme which is to raise awareness about the current issues in the world. For this year, the
theme is Smart Cities, and the organisers aim to stress the importance of keeping a sustainable
lifestyle which will benefit the world in the future.

3.0 MISSION

The main mission for participating in this competition is to promote innovation in the science and
technology field amongst the participants and to gather experience for the new members of the
robotics club. We hope that we can learn new things in different aspects not only from the field
of robotics but as well as training students to be holistic humanitarian leaders in the future.

4.0 TARGETS

4.1 Implementing the basics of STEM education in our area of learning specifically
mechatronics engineering.
4.2 Strengthening our basics and advanced learning in the robotics field by sharing the
knowledge with others.
4.3 Introducing and promoting PERMATApintar College, as well as UKM’s name in leading
our country’s education achievement.
4.4 Exposing new members to familiarise themselves in the competition.

5.0 ORGANISER

This competition is organised by Sasbadi Holdings Berhad and is supported by the Ministry Of
Education Malaysia.

10.0 CLOSING
