Immigration into the United States of America
America has been having many people immigrating in. Those people are sometimes no
even given a chance to be let in. Some are trying to escape from home and the very menacing
people. They take the treacherous journey to live a new life, in hope of meeting new people and
seeking jobs. Some end up waiting weeks, or even months trying to get in. People who are let in
sometimes get deported away from their own families and homes. This is a very controversial
and political topic which makes everyone think the question. Should they be let in? Either way
the Borders should be strict on letting people in, but also give people more opportunities to get
in.
Over the years a growing amount of people immigrating to the United States of America
from Central America. A great extent of people are being seperated at the border, including
elders, children, and their parents. This can really harm children when they are separated from
their parents. Being parents people want the best for their children, and sometimes they would do
anything for them. The problem is how does border patrol know if they are entering the U.S. to
cause trouble. Many cross illegally which either ends up with them getting deported back or
staying in america. If someone snuck in illegally, but had a family their kids get to stay. That is
fair and is better than nothing. But if they are in america for a certain amount of time they should
get a chance to be allowed to live as a resident before being deported. Also, it wouldn’t be

healthy for kids to see their Dad or Mom go and never come back. This can be a very big
problem because the parents put in so much effort to get their kids through school and try to get
them to live the best life possible. “ On one hand, when foreign firms invest in the United
States, local residents may have additional job opportunities, especially when foreign investment
results in building new factories or the expansion of existing production facilities. In addition,
American workers may have a better understanding of foreign cultures after social and
work-related interactions with foreign managers and employees from the home countries of
multinationals.(Lee1)” This quote shows the benefits of people coming into the United States.
The process of letting people in should be really careful because even tho many people
wanna be free, there is many people that wanna do very dangerous activities. People need to also
realize that it can’t be right away. Laws should be less strict on immigrating to the U.S. People
come here to start a new life and see opportunities they have never been able to do at their old
country. The problem is some people can’t wait wait the months to cross the border, so they do it
illegally by either jumping the fence or swimming the dangerous river. It is a high-risk, high
reward if they do make it across the border, but still they shouldn’t be crossing. “Sanctuaries can
erect front-line equitable screens, promote procedural fairness, and act as last-resort circuit
breakers in the administration of federal deportation law. The dynamics are messy and contested,
but these efforts in the long run help ensure the vindication of equity-based legitimacy norms in
immigration enforcement.(Cade2)” This can help many of the immigrants out making the
immigrations law less enforced. Sanctuaries can be a gigantice factor in immigration during the
long-run.

Many immigrants move to America to escape their problems run in there country. Whether
they are trying to escape a corrupt government, or even a toxic lifestyle. Also, gives new job
opportunities to the work forces that have immigrated. “ the prevalence and characteristics of the
immigrant direct care workforce, including how workers come to the United States, the
policy for the current and future immigrant direct care workforce. It also provides an alternative
In conclusion, the United States should allow more people to be let in, but make laws and
border security for immigration more strict. People cross illegally because waiting to get let in
takes a enormous amount of time that people do not have the patience for. Letting immigrants in
also give us a chance to let them spread some of their culture around. It can give workers the
chance to see how they work. Even though it is a very political and controversial topic it
sometimes makes them sound evil and the public can be deceived. These people want to come to
america to be free and to live their life with growing technology and new opportunities that they
get. News stations can be very negative on immigration and it makes people think if they really
want to let them into the country. Immigrants coming in are trying to just get out of all the
problems in their country. The U.S. has taken in many to help them, and hopefully will improve
