Academic Exchange Agreement

University of Hyogo, Japan
on
Educational Cooperation

SMA Negeri 4 Denpasar (here in after referred to as 'FOURSMA DENPASAR') and

University of Hyogo (hereinafter referred to as 'HYOGO') agree to the following
terms.

Purpose

The purpose of this agreement is to jointly advance the educational goal of

FOURSMA DENPASAR and HYOGO based on mutual interests to foster the
relationship between Indonesia and Japan.

Article I
Framework for Collaboration

Each institution will cooperate on the following:

1. Each institution shall encourage contacts in all fields of education, through the
establishment of close ties between the staffs of FOURSMA DENPASAR and
HYOGO.
2. Each institution shall encourage and facilitate educational activities thatwould
strengthen cooperative relations in the spirit of mutual respect.
3. FOURSMA DENPASAR shall recommend excellent students from Indonesia as
candidates of the HYOGO’s Global Business Course, and in the absence of
deficiencies and/or disqualifications in the admission process, HYOGO shall
make an acceptance of one student as a minimum of accepted students.

Specific terms and conditions to be applied to the activities as set out in this article
shall be determined by HYOGO.

Article II
 Administration

The administration of this Memorandum of Understanding shall be in the hands of the

Principalof4 DENPASARand the Vice-CEO of HYOGO.

Article III
Financial Considerations
Each institution understands that all the financial arrangements should be agreed to
by both parties on a case-by-case basis and will depend upon the availability of funds.

Article IV
Confidentiality

Each institution commits itself to consider confidential any information provided by

the other party and to use those only upon the application of the present Memorandum
of Understanding and its possibleamendments.

ArticleV
Duration

The Memorandum of Understanding shall be valid for three (3) years, commencing on
the date of the last signature affixed to this document, and it may be renewed every
three (3) years, and can be modified or cancelled at any time if both parties agree,
providing six (6) months' notice is given in writing before any such cancellation.

Article VI
Language

This Memorandum of Understanding shall be written in English.
