III. Phases of on-the-job-training program

1. Preparatory Activities
a. Orientation
b. Introduction / shop safety / Tools to be used
during the training
c. Preparation of the On-the-Job-Training
paraphernalia.
d. Conduct Examination to know adequate 1200 hours HTE Training
knowledge of the trainee in their field of training Coordinator and
e. Acceptable attitude as expected from the student SLSU OJT

2. On-the-Job Training Activities:
a. On-the-Job Trainees expectancies.
1. Basic training of the course
2. Conduct various trainings to learn the
necessary skills to grade on their capacities
3. Work experience, so that the student can
apply skills previously acquired at the college
and acquire new relevant skills
4. Preparatory tasks (planning, organizing the
workshop, maintenance of machine parts and
tools.
5. Hands-on
a. The student trainee will work on the
assigned job given by the supervisor.
b. The student trainee follows the job plan
and job description given by the
supervisor.
c. Operation of the modern tools and
equipment used in the workplace.
