This matter is before the court on the Emergency Motion To Amend Order
Of Detention, (Docket Item No. 13) (“Motion”), filed on behalf of the defendant.
The Motion was heard by the undersigned by telephone conference call on May
14, 2019. Based on the arguments and representations of counsel, it is ORDERED
as follows:

1. The undersigned’s May 13, 2019, Order is AMENDED to

remove the request for a sanity evaluation under 18 U.S.C.
§4242;
2. Within seven days of the date of entry of this Order, defense
counsel shall provide further information to the court with
regard to counsel’s request that the defendant’s competency
evaluation be conducted locally;
3. The U.S. Marshals Service shall not transport the defendant out
of district until further order of the court; and
4. Other than as set out above, the Motion is taken under
advisement and is set to be further heard by the court by
telephone conference call at 3 p.m. on May 21, 2019.

 The Clerk is directed to send certified copies of this Order to the United States
Marshal for this district and to all counsel of record.
