RAJBOLARAM VILLAGE

RAJBOLARAM, the village opted for the development, is located in Medchal Tehsil of Rangareddy District
in Telangana. It is situated 33 kms away from the district headquarters of Hyderabad with a village code
of 574105.The Geographical Area of the village is 166 Hectares and consists of 503 houses comprising
the total population of 2,186 people where the Male Population is 1,104 and Female Population is
1,082.

As per the observations made on the ecosystem of the Rajbolaram, the village lacks the knowledge of
trending technologies emerging in the society which are benifitable for their daily chores. So keeping
this in view, we as a team, have implemented the Service App, Agriculture App, Study App and the
promotion of the Paytm App in the village.

SERVICE APP
Service App is the Emergency App which is created based of the perspective of the occurrence of
Emergencies at the abrupt conditions. The frequently occurred problems in the villages are Fire
Accidents, Bite off Poisonous Animal/Creatures, Hospital and Maternity Issues and Theft Issues. To
overcome these various issues, the team has implemented the Service App which is user friendly for the
people of Rajbolarum village.

Description of the SERVICE App

This Service App is available in the Google Play Store for Free and it’s a user friendly app which satisfies
the basic user requirements. It consists of the Four Emergency Services which include Predefined and
User Defined Contacts namely, the Ambulance Service, the Police Service, the Fire Department Service
and a User Defined Emergency contact.

Handling of the App

Initially the App, which is free of cost, must be installed in the Smart Phone through the Google Play
Store. Post installation, the user is provided with an option of the opting the language in which he/she is
comfortable to interact with the App .The Language can be changed later in the Settings. After opting
the language for the App, the App is all set to use. The App displays a screen provided with the services
of Ambulance, Police, Fire service and User defined emergency contact. On clicking on any of the
services according to the situations, the user is directed to the concerned service through a call where
he/she can brief about the emergency in their Area and the Emergency Responders arrive at the place to
resolve the emergency.

This reduces the time of delay for treatment and help to causalities. The app is very easy to use
and self-explanatory. The User Interface is designed in a way that it is easy to recognize services by their
icons. The app also is smaller in storage and can be installed in basic android phones (Android version
4.0 JellyBean) and measures only 7MB on device. Keeping in mind with the village it was observed that
due to lack of knowledge and awareness, many deaths were caused as helping services were delayed or
not contacted.

This app can interact with the user in three languages only (English, Hindi, and Telugu) but in future
updates, many more languages will be added to satisfy variety of users across the country.

the emergency in their Area.

● Adding on to the Services provided by the App, the user is given an opportunity to set a Speed
Dial Number for his/her Family member to be contacted easily during an Emergency.

AGRICULTURE APP
AGRICULTURE, which is the Backbone of India, provides the essentials for the world to survive. Food
being the basic supplement in the daily chores, acts as Fuel for the Ecosystem. As per the statistics,75%
of India’s population is involved directly or indirectly in Farming and its related activities. The Farmers
may not be aware of the latest technologies on Farming. To overcome this issue and update the Farmers
with the emerging technologies and bring out good harvest, the Agriculture App comes into Action. The
App is provided with Fertilizers, Tools, News Updates and Weather Forecast regarding Farming.
