ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

It gives me immense pleasure to thank Larsen & Toubro (L&T) for giving me an
opportunity to pursue an internship at the Powai Works Campus. Pursuing an internship in
L&T, one of the most competitive companies in the field of Engineering & Construction,
has not only enriched my knowledge but has also instilled the qualities of leadership,
sincerity and delivering work on time.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude and indebtedness to my manager, Mr. Gaurav
Kulkarni and my seniors Mr. Gaurav Katruwar and Mr. Vigneshwaran for their invaluable
guidance and support, and motivating me throughout the internship period. Under their
guidance and support, I was able to complete my internship successfully. Their way of
working and cordial behavior was a constant source of motivation for me.

I also acknowledge the help extended by all L&T employees and the shop supervisors of
shops MMS, HMS and MFS-1 for responding to my queries and guiding me throughout
the internship period. Their support and technical knowledge is invaluable to me.

I would also like to express my gratitude to the Head of the Department of Mechanical
Engineering and my Faculty Co-ordinator, Dr. PS Satsangi for his constant guidance,
valuable suggestions and moral support.

Finally, no words are enough to express my deepest reverence to my family and friends
who supported me with enthusiasm. Without their support, I wouldn’t have been able to
achieve my goals.
