What is Al-Manzil

The Manzil is a collection of verses of the Qur'an. Like you have learnt, it is found in the Hadith of Rasulullah
(sallallahu ’alayhi wa sallam) as a protection from evil or as a medium of healing from physical or mental illness.

The following authentic Hadith sources is where the Al-Manzil came from

1. Sunan Ibn Majah, hadith: 3549

2. Mustadrak Hakim, vol.4 pg.412-413
3. Musnad Ahmad, vol.5 pg.128
4. Musnad Abi Ya’la, hadith: 1594
5. ‘Amal al-Yawm wa al-Layla of Ibnus Sunni, hadith: 632
6. Kitab al-Du’a of Tabarani, hadith: 1080

Note: Some of the above sources have cited more verses that were recited than the other references.

Many people, learned and others have found much benefit in the recital of the Manzil. One may recite it despite its
weak chain.

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.

** The healing of you, your family or anyone reciting Al-Manzil are solely by the grace and willing of Allah Azza
Wajjal - The Almighty, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
