Ministry of Education and Research and founded in 1924

 On the Basis of Basic Education

•Computers and Computer Networks (3,5 y) – this program provides a good

knowledge and practical skills of hardware, software and databases.

•Warehouse Keeper (3 y) - training in employment positions in different retail and

wholesale warehouses, department stores, custom bureaus and logistics centers.
Opportunity to get licensed as Forklift Operator.

•Logistics Client Services Assistant (3 y) – knowledge and practical skills for

warehousing are mastered in information technology in warehouses, warehouse
services, and client service. Graduates are expected to work as mid-level
specialists in the field of transportation services.

•Freight Forwarding (3 y) – certifies workers in the field of transportation services,

distribution warehouses, wholesale warehouses and customs bonds. Professions
after graduation include working as a freight forwarder, warehouse operator, or
logistics services. Opportunity to get licensed as a commercial driver.

 On the Basis of Basic Education

•Household Economy and Catering (3 y) – students gain knowledge and skills

in food preparation, including pastry products, how to organize kitchen work and
proper customer service. Opportunity to for advanced training in food hygiene,
with special offerings of sewing and looming, among other options.

•Cleaning Services (3 y) – gain knowledge in the proper use of cleaning

equipment and detergents, learn operating cleaning tools and work planning.
Opportunity for special training as cooks or waiters.

•Agriculture (3,5 y) - knowledge of growing plants and raising animals, all kind of
agricultural machinery and farm equipment including introduction of agricultural
techniques. This program licenses in B-, C1-, R– and T-category. Opportunity to
be certified as a pesticide or deforester worker. After the graduation exam there is
an opportunity to take the vocational examination.

 On the Basis of Basic Education

•Equine Management and Production (3 y) - this specialty is taught ONLY

in Järva County Vocational Training Centre. This program provides
knowledge and skills in the healthcare, maintenance and feeding of horses,
as well as different stable operations. Students learn basic skills and
techniques in horse riding, and gain in-depth knowledge of stable
construction, blacksmithing and horse tourism.

• Car Technician (3,5 y) – this program educations in the assembly of cars

and trucks, work principles, service and maintenance, technology
diagnostics and damage assessment. License of B-category provided at the
school’s cost.
•
•Rudimentary Carpentry (3 y) – good knowledge and skills in constructing
different wooden buildings and knowing the essentials of different kinds of
wood, plastering techniques, tile fitting and erecting dry plaster structures.

 On the Basis of Basic Education

•Construction of Stone and Concrete Buildings (3 y) – in depth knowledge of

masonry, concrete works, woodworks, stucco works and tile fittings.

•Restorer of Wooden and Stone Buildings (3 y) - restoration is a higher level of

a construction. Restorers will learn the foundations of both modern and historic
construction techniques. In addition to gaining the usual construction skills, this
program also gives lessons on special historic stucco and plasterworks, as well as
the basic principles of log home construction, environmental friendly construction
and effective construction with resources are introduced.

• Road Construction (3 y) - this program is ONLY taught in Järva County

Vocational Training Centre. Road construction and operation of small and heavy
equipment. Graduates will gain a drivers license for cars, small trucks and light
machinery.

•Electrician (3 y) – fitting electrical components and wires for the indoors

and outdoors.

 On the basis of secondary education

•Shop Assistance/ Sales Management (2 y) – Study of economics with special

emphasis in sales management, banking statements, organizational management,
and marketing.

•Freight forwarding (1 y) – basic knowledge and practical skills in the field of

transportation services. Possible professions after graduation would be freight
forwarder, warehouse operator, or logistics services.

•Handling goods (1 y) - knowledge of warehousing and warehouse equipment.

Graduates can work in different fields of transportation services. Opportunity to be
licensed as a forklift operator.

•Manager of cleaning services (1 y) – organizing and operating cleaning work and

proper use of cleaning equipment. Opportunity to gain a drivers license during this
course.
