ROLES
Sponsor
Individual that controls schedule, scope, budget and quality of project
Customer
The individual or group that either ordered the project or receives the first
line of benefit from the project or both
ROLES
End User
Individuals who will use the product(s) of the project
Project Manager
The individual who is responsible to see that the project is completed on
time, within budget, with the appropriate functionality and quality

Team
The individuals who will perform the work necessary to complete and
deliver the project
Phase
Phases are distinct stages of a product development.
Deliverables
Deliverables are the results or end product if completing a task or set of
tasks that progressively give “body” to the project. Deliverable must be
tangible and crisply defined to avoid ambiguity.
Task
Tasks are pieces of work assigned to an individual or organizational unit
that should be completed in a specified period of time, leading to the
achievement of a milestone or the completion of a deliverable.
Lag
The necessary delay or wait time between a given task and the task that
follows it.
Milestone
Milestones are indicators of significant progress in a project.
Network Diagram
A network diagram depicts the logical sequence and concurrence of
various deliverables, tasks, subtasks and milestones in a project.
