Project #1: Health Care Support System
The Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. provides support to key health care customers, including
hospital systems and group purchasing organizations, leading health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, and
government health care institutions. Work at Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc mainly involved
designing, developing, and maintaining two major types of decision support systems: Clinical and Financial.
Involved with all the phases of the life cycle starting from gathering the requirements for designing DS systems,
integrating data scattered in many systems and presenting a centralized data warehouse interface, Data warehouse
design with decision support in mind, and development using DataStage.
Responsibilities:
Analyzed the mappings provided in DataStage, Created mappings, Loaded complete warehouse.
Developed DataStage jobs to extract, transform and load the data from source to Staging Area and Staging
Area to Warehouse Tables.
Used DataStage Director to run and monitor the jobs.

Description :
RSA is a FTSE 100 company, listed on the London Stock Exchange. Provides insurance, Capital Markets &
Loan Closing Services. It strives for the highest possible levels of satisfaction among customers, business partners,
shareholders and employees. In order to take effective decisions and build good customer relationship, this system
gives intelligent information regarding to understand the trends, performance and customer’s analysis. This system
is used to perform Policy Formulating, claiming process. The console application, which is part of this system, does
the month-end and the day end process apart from performing regular data. The main purpose of the project is to
perform Extraction, Transforming and Loading into Oracle 9i target using IBM Data Stage Architecture.
Responsibilities:
Studied the RSA EPM model thoroughly and known the data relationships and hierarchies involved.
Designed the whole flow of Data through DataStage.
Analyzed the mappings provided in DataStage, Created mappings, Loaded complete warehouse.
Tested the jobs in Data stage.
