1.

Human intelligence, mental quality that consists of the abilities to learn from
experience, adapt to new situations, understand and handle abstract
concepts, and use knowledge to manipulate one's environment.

2. ARTIFICIAL INT
Artificial intelligence (AI) is wide-ranging branch of computer
science concerned with building smart machines capable of
performing tasks the typically require human intelligence.
AI is an interdisciplinary science with multiple approaches,
but advancements in machine learning and deep learning are
creating a paradigm shift in virtually every sector of the tech
industry.

WE CAN EVEN SAY THAT AI is the science and engineering of

making intelligent machines
The expansive goal of artificial intelligence has given rise to
many questions. So much so, that no singular definition
of the field is universally accepted.

RED PLANET, THE robot arm has been digging in the
Martian Soil & Ice for 2,5 hours a day.

4. NEUROARM:
IT’S A SURGICAL ROBOTIC SYSTEM, THAT CAN DO DELICATE
BRAIN SURGERY, ALSO ENABLING PHYSICIANS TO
MANIPULATE TOOLS AT MISCROSCOPIC LEVELS

5. THE DIGITAL SECRETARY THAT USES AI TO

UNDERSTAND SPOKEN ENGLISH COMMANDS AND TO
LEARN OVER TIME… Outside of work, virtual assistants can still be
on the clock. They can maintain daily tasks of your personal life like
scheduling appointments with your doctor, sending gifts on your behalf, and
answering phone calls.

6. UNDERWATER MINING
IT’S NOT POSSIBLE TO HAVE MINING STAFF ON SITE AT SUCH DEPTHS
Marine Mining initiatives open up a completely new field of subsea operations.
Offshore oil and gas sites are still primarily located in areas, where divers can support
maintenance and repair, while future marine mining will take place in greater depths
and with a complexity of machines that require support from robotic systems
equipped with a substantial amount of artificial intelligence.

7. DANGEROUS

AI programmed to do something dangerous, as is the case with autonomous

weapons programmed to kill, is one way AI can pose risks

2. Social media through its autonomous-powered algorithms is very

effective at target marketing. They know who we are, what we like and are
incredibly good at surmising what we think.

3. It is now possible to track and analyze an individual's every move online

as well as when they are going about their daily business. Cameras are
nearly everywhere, and facial recognition algorithms know who you are.

4. Discrimination
Since machines can collect and analyze so much about you, it’s very possible
for those machines to use that information against you. It’s not hard to
imagine an insurance company telling you you’re not insurable based on the
number of times you were caught on camera talking on your phone. An
employer might withhold a job offer based on your “social credit score.”

SUMMARY

From SIRI to self-driving cars, artificial intelligence (AI) is progressing rapidly.

While science fiction often portrays AI as robots with human-like
characteristics, AI can encompass anything from Google’s search algorithms
to IBM’s Watson to autonomous weapons.

Artificial intelligence today is properly known as narrow AI (or weak AI), in that
it is designed to perform a narrow task (e.g. only facial recognition or only
internet searches or only driving a car). However, the long-term goal of
many researchers is to create general AI (AGI or strong AI). While narrow AI
may outperform humans at whatever its specific task is, like playing chess or
solving equations, AGI would outperform humans at nearly every cognitive
task.
