Assessment Task
Task: Your task is to research, write and deliver a 4-5-minute persuasive oral
presentation on the issue of your choice. Use the techniques and structure you
have been taught in class.
This oral presentation should not be a re-hashing of an oral presentation used
in another subject.

Specifics:
 4-5 minutes (max of 6)
 Persuasive issue must be approved by your teacher.
 Delivered in class on ____________________________
 You do not need to memorise your speech. Cue cards are acceptable. Do
not read a prepared essay- rehearsal is vital.
