of accountability, nyonya meneer went bankrupt because there is no balance of authority between
the nyonya meneer family members who have position in nyonya meneer company. The
accountability of nyonya meneer company is not effective because there was a conflict between
the owner and the shareholders. In the point of view of responsibility nyonya meneer company has
a responsibility to pay the the salary of employees but nyonya meneer company does not pay it yet
and it cause the company to have a large amount of debt. It means that the company is not a good
corporate citizenship. In point of view of transparency, this principle requires the openness of the
company to all stakeholders. This can be done through disclosure of information carried out in a
timely, accurate, and quality manner about the business conditions in a company. In case of nyonya
meneer company was not transparency because it did not give any information which is related to
the company to the public. In term of independency, nyonya meneer company was far from
independency because the family members can interfere the company and the family members
interfere it with their own goal which is money and authority. That’s all the analysis using good
corpare government elements of why nyonya meneer company went bankrupt.
