ABSTRACT

goiter is a condition of enlarging the thyroid gland, enlargement can be diffuse, which

means that the entire gland enlarges, or nodules which means that there are nodules in

the thyroid gland. From the medical record data in the V Floor Surgery Room of the

Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital from the last 6 months, November - April 2019 patients

were admitted as many as 1398 patients, patients who experienced interference with

the endocrine system as many as 78 patients or around 8.3%, and those who

experienced SNNT (struma nodusa non toxic) as many as 34 patients. This scientific

paper will discuss nursing care in Mr. C with non-toxic Struma nodusa post

thyroidectomy on the V floor of the pavilion Ery Sadewo starting from 01 - 04 April

2019. The purpose of writing this paper is to get real experience in providing nursing

care to Mr. C with SNNT post thyroidectomy on the V floor of the pavilion Ery

Sadewo Army Hospital Gatot Soebroto. The writing method used is a descriptive

method of case study type and library study. The approach used is the nursing process

includes assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The

diagnostic diagnosis that the authors found was a diagnosis of pain disorders, risk of

infection, skin integrity disorders and anxiety. Of the four diagnoses found all

problems were resolved and the goal was achieved by all. The author does not find

obstacles at the time of assessment, enforce the diagnosis, planning implementation

and evaluation.
