Sample size
1. Below, put what you planned for sample size and/or repeated measures (#9 in experimental proposal).
Planned for 15 test subjects
2. Below, put the actual sample size and/or repeated measures you completed by the deadline (February
5).
12 test subjects and 3 more to come 12 from turning point and 3 from outside organizations for a diverse
data amount.
3. If there are differences between your initial plan and what you completed by the deadline, explain
a) why they are different, and
b) what you could have done differently to reach your goal on time.
I originally planned to only have 15 women from the turning point facility but after further investigation
and understanding I came to the conclusion that having subjects with a different rehab background or no
rehab at all will show the importance and growth coming from the women whom seeked help primarily
from turning point.
Procedure
4. Below, paste a copy of your planned steps from your project proposal (#15).
1. December 12- proposal day ( introduce the idea to gain potential participants)
2. January 2- initial testing day
3. January 9 secondary testing day
4. January 22 final day for testing ( last resort)
5. January 29 compiling data (final day)
6. February 4 due date for raw data (Feb 5)
5. Carefully look over your initial plans. In a numbered or bullet-pointed list below,
a) identify in detail things you actually did differently, and
b) explain why you made each change.
I gave from January 2-22 for testing instead of singled out times and days. I allowed tests to be taken
home and sent back when finished, the timeline changed and the expectations of completing lowered
over the time of testing. Some data still has not come in, and that is those from women not attending
turning point rehab. These changes were made for ease and comfort of the participants and to provide a
lesser feeling of rush.
Variables
6. In your proposal, find your standardized (#8) and extraneous variables (#10) and list them in the table
below.

Reflection on learning
In August, y’all shared your thoughts on what the point of school is. Many of your responses involved
building skills. You may recognize some of them in this list below, which has a few of my top priorities for
skills to build in this class.
10. Read over the skills and indicate with a comment where you feel you are with each, at this point in the
year.
I think I have I’m making I’m struggling: I see This is a very weak
very strong progress. I feel some improvement area for me. I don’t feel
skills in this pretty good about but it’s really hard. I’ve improved at all.
