Exercise 1: Water Usage

The pie charts give information on the percentage of water used for
residential, agricultural and industrial purposes in San Diego County,
California and the rest of the world.
In general, while water for domestic purpose was the most consumption
in San Diego County and California, agriculture occupied the majority
of water used in the world.
To be more specific, in San Diego County and California, domestic
water consumption accounted for 60% and 39% of total water usage, as
apposed to 8% in the world. In fact, in the world, the main water
consumption was for agriculture, which occupied 69%. This figure was
more than the total of water usage in San Diego County and California,
at 17% and 28% respectively.
In addition, the proportions of water used for industry in San Diego
County and in the world are the same, at 23%. This figure was 10% less
than the figure for California, at 33%.
Exercise 2: Nature Reserves
The bar chart illustrates how many zebras and buffaloes were protected
in four different nature reserves in the year 2010.
Overall, Beachwood was the place having the highest populations of
zebras and buffaloes. Another noteworthy is that buffaloes outnumbered
zebras in three out of the four reserves in questions.
To be more specific, we can see that Beachwood was home to 120
buffaloes and 83 zebras in the year 2010. Klipriviersberg ranked second,
with only 115 buffaloes and 78 zebras. In Capture Nature, the figure for
buffaloes was higher than the figure for zebras, at 81 and 78
respectively.
Bukit Timah nature reserve had the lowest animals and showed a
different pattern. While 58 zebras stayed in this place, the figure for
buffaloes was significantly lower, at 40.
