Topic: Comparing routines

Dear Students,

You will participate in an assignment of making a video comparing people’s routines.

Here are the steps to complete the assignment:

Step 1:
Choose three people you know (friends, relatives, people in your family, teachers, famous
people, etc.)
Step 2:
Prepare a script about these people’s routines and compare them.
Talk about:
 age
 job
 everyday activities (routines)
 chores they do
 hobbies
 favorite food/sport/TV programmes/music/etc.
Step 3:
In your script, include your comparisons of these people’s routines/characteristics.
(__) is as ____ as (__).
(__) isn’t as ____ as (__).
(__) is ________ than (__).
(__) is the ________ of all.

Sample script:
Hello. I’m Ana. I’ll tell you about my cousins. Martha is twenty-five. She is an engineer and
works for a big company. She works a lot every day. She doesn’t do the household chores.
And this is my cousin Ana. She works at home. She is an online instructor and works from
Monday to Friday only. She cleans her house and does the cooking.
This is a photo of my cousin Lucy. She lives in Holland. She is studying at university. She cleans
her room only.
Well, so you can see Martha’s life is the hardest. Lucy is never as busy as Martha or Ana, but
they are more hardworking than Lucy.
Thanks for watching.
Bye.

Step 3:
Stand in front of the camera and record yourself in a video telling us about the comparison of
people’s routines. Show photographs!
