I would like to share with you some insights I have learned from the GO NEGOSYO
SEMINAR that our office in collaboration with the Philippine Center for Entrepreneuship
organized yesterday May 19, 2010 here at CDO. The event was well attended by
almost 900 participants from all over Northern Mindanao (we targeted only 500
participants). NEGOSEM's next stop is BUTUAN CITY.
Most of the topics presented and discussed during the seminar are fully explained in the
book: 21 STEPS ON HOW TO START YOUR OWN BUSINESS by Dean Pax Lapid
and Ping Sotto

"Your Mind could either be your best friend or your worst enemy"
"You become what you think about most of the time"
"Everyone wants to change the world, but no one thinks/ wants to change himself or
herself"
M- Mangarap (DREAM)
> Is your dream worth achieving?
> Is it going to help other people?
> Will achieving your dream give us world peace?
Dreams are free! "What your mind can DREAM, your heart must believe and hands
must ACHIEVE."
But your Dream must not remain a dream. You must translate it into PASSION.
Because if you have the PASSION towards your DREAM, you will ACT on it.
Dream BIG but start small. Even if you start small, for as long as you have planned for it
and put your heart on it, you do as you plan, there is a big probability that you will
"REAP what you SOW."
Put GOD at the center of everything so that HE will give you guidance and focus.

"You should OWN your business and DON'T LET YOUR BUSINESS OWN YOU"
"Your business is NOT your LIFE!"
So what do you have to do? "FIRE YOURSELF. FIND A WAY TO MAKE THE
BUSINESS RUN WITHOUT YOU."
"The Secret of Success is not keeping your SUCCESS A SECRET." Hire, delegate,
train others to WORK for YOU.
