The best accomplishment that I take great pride in is playing basketball throughout high
school. I take such pride in this because when I first started basketball it wasn’t something I
thought I would love enough to pursue over the next three years of
first sisterhood. In the fall 2016 (my freshman year) I got to be the
only lower level player to travel with 5 of the Varsity girls to help
our coach work at the Levi Stadium for one of the biggest soccer
sophomore year)I got to be head varsity coach of a little league basketball program. This was
special to me because I got to teach kids the skills I developed and train them for 8 weeks and
have a big games at the end of summer. That same summer my team and I got to be apart of a
big 3 day tournament at Fresno State, where we learned more communication skills and other
things we needed work on. We also competed twice a day and got to meet some of the star

players at Fresno State. In the summer of 2018 (end of my junior year) all levels of basketball
hosted a 3 day summer camp for the youth of Merced. It was a success and raised us so much
money toward our program. We taught the kids defensive drills, offense, dribbling and
conditioning skills. One last highlight of my years of basketball was being able to help manage a
