ABSTRACT:
Aim: To study about the possible relationship between no. of operation year of a business to
its sale
Method: In this study, the researcher used descriptive statistics to determine possible
relationship between the two variables presented. Availability sampling was used in the
study. The researchers chose food service businesses in Malolos area that is willing and ready
to participate and answered the designed a survey questionnaire to gather the data needed.
After which, the researcher used Pearson R Correlation to determine the possible relationship
between the two variables based on the two available sets of data.
Results: The results show an r-coefficient of .48, indicating a weak positive association
between operational years of a business and its sales.
Conclusion: Researchers conclude that if a food businesses run for a long period, it will get
higher sales compared to the other businesses that operate for a short period. This shows
that the biggest objective that a business should have is sustainability. Where business can
create a big name in the industry the longer they have operating.
