Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination (CHSLE), 2017 –

Declaration of the Result of Tier-II (Descriptive Paper) to call the
Candidates for Typing Test/Data Entry Skill Test and Document
Verification for the posts of Data Entry Operator (DEO), Lower Division
Clerk (LDC) / Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Postal Assistant
(PA)/ Sorting Assistant (SA).

Staff Selection Commission conducted the Tier-II of the Combined

Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2017 (Descriptive paper) on
15.07.2018 for recruitment to the posts of Data Entry Operator (DEO),
Lower Division Clerk (LDC) / Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Postal
Assistant (PA)/ Sorting Assistant (SA).

2. Based on the cut-off fixed by the Commission, 1427 candidates have

qualified (provisionally) for Skill Test for the post of DEO in C&AG, 229
candidates have qualified (provisionally) for Data Entry Skill Test for the
post of DEO in Departments other than C&AG, and 33967 have qualified
(provisionally) for Typing Test for the posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC) /
Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Postal Assistant (PA)/ Sorting
Assistant (SA) as per the details given below:

OBC, 37 ExS, 63 OH, 06 HH and 31 VH candidates qualified at UR standard

3. Candidates may note that:

(i) Document verification will be done at the time of conduct of Data Entry
Skill Test (DEST)/ Typing Test. Detailed options of posts and departments
are required to be submitted by the candidates at the time of Document
Verification.

(ii) All qualified candidates (including OH candidates seeking exemption in

Typing Test) are required to appear in the Document Verification.

4. The above said lists are purely provisional and subject to the
recommended candidates fulfilling all the eligibility conditions prescribed for
the respective post in the Notice of Examination and also subject to
thorough verification of their identity with reference to their photographs,
signatures, handwritings, etc., on the application forms, admission
certificates, etc. If, on verification, it is found that any candidate does not
fulfill any of the eligibility conditions, he/she will not be allowed to attend
the Data Entry Skill Test/Typing Test.

5. The category of the candidates has been indicated along with their Roll
Numbers. If any, candidate finds a mismatch between his/her name, Roll
Number and category, he/she must bring it to the notice of the respective
Regional Office of the Commission immediately.

6. The schedule for holding the Data Entry Skill Test/Typing Test on
computer will be available on the respective websites of the Regional Offices
of the Commission. Data Entry Skill Test/Typing Test will be undertaken as
per the instructions/information stipulated in the Notice of the
Examination.
7. Candidates bearing Roll Numbers 2405198874, 2201416123 and
2405077300 have been debarred from the Examinations of the Commission.
Therefore, their result(s) have not been processed.

8. Result of two candidates bearing Roll Nos. 2405042542 and 7001711083

have been kept withheld due pending court cases filed by them.

9. This result is subject to the Orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India
in the Writ Petition (Civil) No. 234 of 2018 filed by Shri Shantanu Kumar &
Ors. Vs. UOI.

10. Result of this examination is available on SSC’s Website

http://ssc.nic.in. Marks of qualified & Non-qualified candidates will be
made available on the Commissions website shortly.
