LESSON PLAN IN UNDERSTANDING MARKETING MIX CONCEPT-4P’S

I – OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the leson ,the students must have:
1. Understand the importance of marketing mix tool in a business
2. Identified the 4 elements of marketing mix
3. Identified the different strategies applicable for different business scenarios

II –SUBJECT MATTER:
Topic:
Understanding the Marketing Mix Concept -4P’s
Materials:
LCD Projector,Laptop,and Pictures

III-LEARNING PROCEDURE:
A.Preliminary Activities
-Greetings
-Prayer
-Checking of Attendance
-Setting the classroom standards
B.Review
The teaccher wil recapitulate the lesson discussed on the previous meeting.

C.Motivation:
The teaher will share an inspirational quotes, regarding on achieving dreams and how to elevate
oneself.
The teacher will give a clear example of a particular person who inspired many people to continue
dreaming and achieve their goals in life- Bill Gates
Bill Gates attended Harvard for two years before leaving to build what would become Microsoft. The
Harvard Crimson describes him as “Harvard’s most successful dropout,” and today he is the wealthiest
person on the planet.
D.Lesson Proper:
a. Pre-activity
The teacher introduce the topic and present the objectives of the lesson.
The students will be asked about their ideas on maketing and how marketing mix works
,including the 4 key elements which are product,price,place and promotion.
The teacher will ask the sudents the following questions:
1.What is your ideas about marketing?
2.Do you have any certain topics in mind that interrrelated with marketing?
3.Would you please give sample products available in the amrket today?
4.If you are in to cofeee business what is your competitive edge with other cofee shops?
b. Post –activity:
The teacher will give additional information on the part which she thinks was not fully
understood by the students.
c. Generalization:
1.What you have learned about the marketing mix?
2.Would you please provide or identify the four P’s or key elements in marketing mix?
3.What are the four pricing strategies?

IV EVALUATION:
A. DEFINITION:
1.Define Marketing Mix
2.Identify the 4 elements of Marketing Mix Concept or the 4P’s
B. Explanation
1. If you are an entrepreneur or a newbie in setting up a business what type of product would you
sell and how you can differentiate your product or business from other competitors?
Justify your answer.

2. If you are to up weigh the different pricing strategy of a marketer, which do you think will be the
best strategy to used in this type of mellenial era for getting a wide range of buyers?

V ASSIGNMENT
Give the advantage and disadvantage of entrepreneurs who did and did not implement the used
of marketing mix on their businesses.
