Dear Customer,
first of all we would like to thank you for having bought your new ECOLOGIC PELLETS STOVE
“STOVE ITALY”
The stoves “STOVE ITALY” are the results of successful researches, innovation and quality together
with refined style.
Here follow the main features of “STOVE ITALY” stoves:
• SIMPLICITY of use, thanks to the control panelwith display;
• PRACTICITY of use, with ample drawer for the ash, infrared remote control, telephone lighting GMS
(optional);
• PROGRAMMATION, thanks to a programmer with 8/10 lighting and 8/10 turning off per day/week
depending on the model;
• SELF-ADJUSTABLE, with a thermostat which optimize the pellets consumption and grant the best
comfort;
• EFFICIENCY, for high performances which means saving money;
• SILENT with 5 ventilation speeds ;

• ELECTRONIC COMBUSTION CONTROL, patented electronic system with microprocessor and
technology able to recognize the type of introduced pellets and able to regulate the stove
automatically, garantees an optimal combustion with a total re-use the fumes. It also allows a self
adjusting chemney draft system (DARWIN system)

BEFORE USING THE STOVE, IT IS MANDATORY FOR THE AUTHORIZED OPERATORS TO

READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS MANUAL IN ALL PARTS.
This technical manual “Instructions for the installation, use and maintenance” has been written following
the European Rules indications, in order to grant an easy and correct understanding by the operators au-
thorized to the use and the maintenance of the machine.
If the operators have difficulties in understanding, they are kindly invited to ask explanations from the ma-
nufacturer to avoid wrong interpretation which could compromise the safety of the machine.
Before using the stove, the authorized operators must read and understand this technical manual
“Instructions for the installation, use and maintenance” in all parts, and must stick to the instructions in or-
der to guarantee their self safety and the safety of other people, obtain the best efficiency from the stove
and assure the maximum efficiency and life to all its components.

THE AUTHORISED OPERATORS ARE FORBIDDEN TO WEAR CLOTHES AND ACCESSORIES

WHICH COULD ENTANGLED IN THE STOVE: LOOSE CLOTHING, TIES, BELTS,
NECKLACES,BRACELETS, WATCHS, EARRINGS, RINGS, ETC.
IT IS MANDATORY TO PIN UP LONG HAIR.
RESPONSIBLE PERSON (USER)

A person able to light and turn off the stove, load the pellets and make the ordinary maintenance in the
total respect of the instruction described in this manual in par.7.1.
AUTHORIZED OPERATOR FOR THE MOVEMENT

A professionally trained operator, older than 18 years in respect to the laws in force in the Country of u-
se, qualified for the use of fork-lifts and cranes in order to effect the transport, the movement and the un-
packing of the stove and/or parts of it in safety.
The operator must be equipped with the necessary individual protection equipment (DPI).

THE COMPANY SAFETY RESPONSIBLE

(In case the stove is used in a company). It is a qualified technician appointed by the customer, having
the technical and professional qualifications required by the rules in force for what concerns the safety

MANUFACTURER TECHNICIAN
A qualified manufacturer or reseller technician, authorized for stove erection and commissioning to
carry out after sales service, to organize standard and extraordinary maintenance and to take care about
other stove interventions not included in the manual, whose not required specific stove background.
The operator must be equipped with the required individual protection equipment (DPI).

2.4- RESERVED RIGHTS
The Manufacturer owns the reserved rights related to this manual “Instruction for the installation, use
and maintenance”. Any information (text, drawings, schemes, etc..) of this manual is reserved.
No part of this manual can be reproduced (completely or partially) in any way (photocopies, microfilms
or other) without prior written authorization by the manufacturer.
All the mentioned logos belongs to the respective owners.

2.5- WARRANTY
1) DECLARATION OF WARRANTY (As per the community rule 1999/44/CE)

The manufacturer guarantees to replace the stove or repair if the stove shows defects which com-
promise the correct use and functioning, if these defects are traced to the real responsibility of the
manufacturer. The manufacturer reserves the right to adopt the best solution to recover the confor-
mity of the stove in a reasonable period of time.
2) CERTIFICATE OF WARRANTY
The buyer must fill in each part of the Certificate of Warranty at page 2, and send a copy (within 8
days from the date of installation and first lighting) to the manufacturer together with a copy of the
purchase document (fiscal ticket or invoice) and of the Test Certificate at pag.3.
3) BUYER
The buyer is considered “consumer” when the purchase is effected by a person which acts with
purposes which are not related to its commercial or professional activity;
The buyer is considered “Professional or Company” when the purchase is effected by a professio-
nal or company with purposes which are related to its commercial or professional activity.
4) TIME LIMIT
The manufacturer is responsible when the conformity defect appears within the following time li-
mits:24 months if the purchase has been effected by a “consumer” as described at point 3); 12
months if the purchase has been effected by a “professional or company” as described at point 3)
5) VALIDITY
The warranty is valid when the buyer reports the conformity defect to the manufacturer within 2
(two) months from the date of the defect statement. This report must be sent to the manufacturer
together with the purchase document.
6) WARRANTY INVALIDATION
The warranty is no longer valid in case the buyer uses the stove in a non correct way and/or not in
accordance with the instructions for the installation, use and maintenance supplied by the manufac-
turer, or in case that the conformity defect has been caused by the buyer.
7) EXCLUSIONS
The material and components submitted to natural wear such as glasses, gaskets, ember, bask, fire
breaker, refractory and the painting are excluded from the warranty.
8) LIABILITY
The manufacturer is exempted from any responsibility for damages to the buyer coming from non-
functioning or partial functioning of the stove due to possible conformity defects.
9) EXPENSES
The expenses for the necessary work to restore the conformity of the stove are charged to the bu-
yer, while the expenses for the materials are charged to the manufacturer. The expenses and the
method of shipping must be agreed with the manufacturer or authorized reseller.

.The above mentioned stoves are manufactured exclusively for the usage described at par.3.5, then it is
absolutely forbidden any different use, with the aim of ensuring the operator safety and the stove
efficiency
INCORRECT USE OF THE STOVE IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. SEE PAR. 3.5 FOR CORRECT
USAGE(PAR. 3.5).
THE INSTALLATION AND IGNITION OF THE STOVE MUST BE DONE BY THE AUTHORIZED
PERSONNEL OF THE MANUFACTURER OR THE AUTHORIZED DEALER.
THE STOVE USAGE IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN WITHOUT HAVING THE FLUE CONNECTED.
THE STOVE’S IGNITION IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN WHERE THERE IS POSSIBILITY OF BLASTS

AND/OR WHERE THERE ARE FUEL DUSTS LIKE WOOD, FLOUR, SUGAR AND CORN DUSTS.
THE STOVE’S IGNITION NEAR FLAMMABLE MATERIAL AND/OR MATERIAL WHO MIGHT E-
MANATE TOXIC GASES ONCE EXPOSED TO HEAT AND/OR GENERATE FIRE.
TRANSPORT AND HANDLING-4
IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO USE PELLETS CONTAINING GLUES, PAINTS, FORMADEHYDE
AND SIMILARS. SMOKES PROVOKED BY BURNING ARE VERY TOXIC AND UNHEALTHY FOR
HUMAN BEEING AND ENVIRONMENT. REMAINING RISKS (SEE PAR.6.3).
IT IS FORBIDDEN TO STAY CLOSE TO THE STOVE WHILE BURNING (POSSIBLE HOT AIR WA-
VES). IT IS FORBIDDEN TO TOUCH THE GLASS, THE FIRE DOOR AND THE SMOKES WA-
STER TUBE, AVOIDING THEN POSSIBLE SCALDS AND BURNS.(SEE PAR.6.4).
IT IS FORBIDDEN TO USE THE STOVE FOR HEATING OF FOODS AND BEVERAGES
IT IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN TO PUT ANY ALIEN DEVICE (LIKE STICKS, TOOLS AND INSTRU-
MENTS) INSIDE THE PELLETS CONTAINER, TO AVOID THE DANGER OF TOUCHING DANGE-
ROUS PARTS ON MOTION.
IT IS MANDATORY TO KEEP CHILDREN FAR AWAY FROM THE STOVES REMAINING RISKS
(SEE PAR.6.3).
IT IS MANDATORY TO KEEP THE INFRARED REMOTE CONTROL (IR) FAR FROM THE CHIL-
DREN AND TO KEEP IT IN A SAFE PLACE.
ALL LOCAL, NATIONAL AND EUROPEAN STANDARDS HAVE TO BE SATISFIED WITH THE
STOVE INSTALLATION AND USE.
IT IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED INSTALLING THE STOVE WITH CHIMNEY SHARED
IT IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED TO USE THE STOVE AS INCINERATOR

4.1– STOVE TRAN
TRANSPORT
The stove is delivered to the purchaser’s location by a “freighter instructed” by the purchaser or
the supplier and/or the authorized dealer as per the various sales terms agreed
EVERY OPERATION OF PACKAGING, LIFTING, LOADING, UNLOADING AND MOVEMENT ARE

DONE BY THE SUPPLIER OR THE AUTHORIZED DEALER USING ONLY SUITABLE MEANS FOL-
LOWING THE EXHISTING SAFETY RULES.

4.2– PACKAGING
Packaging is a wooden cage and a wooden pallet. The stove is fixed on the pallet by 2 screws and all
the above is wrapped by a film of transparent plastic.
The side panels (made of marble or ceramics) of the models DALMATA and DAMA are furthermore
sheltered by polystyrene inserts.The adjustable feet are already mounted (with the exeption LUNA-
PRIMAVERA) and instructions handbook is located inside the fire box.
Model Inserts and Model QUADRA have none. Instructions handbook is located inside the fire box.

4.3- LIFTING OF THE PACKAGE USING A FORK-
FORK-LIFT
THE LIFTING OF THE STOVE PACKAGE MUST BE DONE EXCLUSIVELY BY A FORK-LIFT APT
TO THIS USE, AS PER THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY LISTED OUTSIDE THE PACKAGING
(SEE. CAP.13).

THE STOVE MOTION MUST BE OPERATED BY AN AUTHORIZED CREW OF 4 (FOUR) OPERA-

TORS, AS PER THE RULES RELATED TO “MANUAL MOTION” IN ORDER TO AVOID ANY RISK
OF PHISICAL INJURY AND SPINE / BACK INJURIES
THE STOVE MUST BE HANDLED WITH CARE, AVOIDING TO HANG ON THE COVER FOR
LIFTING AND AVOIDING DRAGGING
WE RECOMMED THE DISPOSAL OF THE PACKAGING MATERIAL AS PER THE EXHISTING RU-
LES REGARDING THE ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
After positioning the package near the working place, proceed to unpack it as follows:
Find inside the package the accessories, plus the accessories on request as listed in the delivery note,
plus the instruction manual. Please verify that no damage at all occurred to the stove and the accesso-
ries during the transport and the motion to the purchaser’s place.
If everything is right note this status on the test certification at pag.3 Otherwise note promptly any failu-
re, missing or breakage to the supplier or the authorized dealer.
1)Take the wooden cage out (PIC.14-Ref.1);
2) Remove the protecting film
3) Unscrew the screws of one of the side panels (valid for all the models with exeption for INSERTS),
Take the panel temporarily out of the stove and unscrew totally the 2 screws (PIC.14-Ref.2) fixing the
stove to the pallet
4) Mount the 4 adjustable feet (PIC.14-Ref.3) (for models LUNA, PRIMAVERA only);
5) The 4 members of the crew put themselves each at any side of the stove and lift it up bringing the
stove away from the wooden pallet (FIG.14-Rif.4);
6) .Put the stove in the forecasted working place
7) Mount again on the stove the 2 side panels using the supplied screws.

PIPING CONNECTION
1) Make sure the stove is off and cold
2) Disconnect the power supply to the heater (See. par.2.2.2);
3) Remove the left stove paneling (right side for model QUADRA, not available for PIANO model)
4) .,Connect a 80mm hose diameter at the outlet of the channel (PIC.17-Ref.1) securing it with a metal
hose clamp (PIC.17-Ref.2 ) .let out the tube to the outside of the stove (PIC.17-Ref.3)
Continue to the room to be heated with rigid piping (flexible smooth bore) insulated (max 8 meters), en-
suring the connection by means of adjustable clamps elestiche or other similar means (PIC.17-Ref.4)
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
1) - Connect a cable with double insulation having a section 2x1 mm2 cables already in place in the
electrical system of the channel. The cable must have a suitable length up to the regulator that will
be placed at a remote location to the stove and in accordance with the applicable laws.
2) - Pass the cable through the cable gland near the power outlet of the heater and tighten it properly so
that the latter is not removable

If the appliance is installed in an environment where others heating systems are placed, check that the-
re is a good air supplying and the heating can’t damage other devices.

The products equipped with DARWIN system do not have particular problems related to the draft.
In case of excess adverse draw, the system will stop and running in safety mode.
All models may have some display visualization troubles, if stoves work below 0 ° C.

6.2- SAFETY SYSTEMS
1) PROTECTION GRID
It is a fixed protection composed by a square wire netting with mesh (dimension 45 x 45 mm), firmly
fixed to the frame inside the pellets container with a distance of 260 mm from the dangerous zone
(Auger). It avoids the accidental contact of hands and harms with moving parts.
2) AIR PRESSURE CONTROL DEVICE
This device is installed inside the stove. Its purpose is to register the flue pressure and turn off the
stove in case the pressure is different from the calibration by the manufacturer due to obstructions
3) TEMPERATURE SENSORS
They are installed inside the stove. Their purpose is to register the temperature of the room, of the
produced warm air and of the flue gasses, and to report the anomaly (for example the overheating,
etc.) to the electronic control system which will provide to grant the stove’s correct functioning or tur-
ning off
4) FIRE DOOR-HANDLE
It is a steel handle installed on the fire door and equipped with a safety lock which obliges the au-
thorized operator (user) to do a wide manual movement (90°) to open/close the door. It avoids an ac-
cidental door opening.
5) THERMAL SWITCH SAFETY
It is an electromechanical system that guarantees the turn off and the safety of the device if the incor-
rect use of the product or malfunction of electronics, were to take the heater to high temperatures

During the first weeks of use, some pellets could remain in the container due to the friction with the
paint. This aspect will disappear with stove use returning to the settling stove phase .

Leave the door open even if the operation is completed, to refresh the room.

be improved by setting the "AUTO OFF"
This function allows, to turn off the stove automatically when the space to be heated reaches the requi-

It’s possibile to decide with “DELTA T” selection, the temperature difference expressed in tenths of Cel-
sius degree , required for restarting.

This system requires sometimes having to make a reset in order to improve its operation
It is recommended to perform this simple task once every six months, in addition to the first power on.
:To reset the draft, proceed as follows

1) Do the ordinary maintenance as reported at par.9.1;

2) Open the fire door and extract the bask and the ember and the ash dra-
wer (PIC.from 2 to 13-Ref.11-12-13);
3) Turn the tab which retains the impervious central panel and extract it
carefully together with the two sides panel for models Piano Quadra
and Coke central panels, two, are holded by a central screw each.
4) Extract the fire breaker moving it, at first in direction of the fire do-
Combustion or,unthreading its supporting tabs and lowing it until extracting. Stove
chamber models: Piano Quadra and Coke, have 2 central panels.
6 5) Spray a proper “unblocking” product to the screws, retaining the top and
bottom panels (only for models LUNA / PRIMAVERA / CHIAROSCU-
RO, MONT BLANC, MOZAIK, TONDO, MAGIS, COMPACT and TO-
SCA) in the combustion chamber. Wait for the product effect, and then
unscrew the screws using an apposite tool and remove the panels.
6) Remove the ash and possible encrustations using a proper putty knife
and aspirator;
7) Reassemble all the components in the correct sequence, having care to
EVERY
oil the panels fixing screws.

BEFORE LIFTING AND HANDLING THE PACKAGING, THE PERSONNEL MUST READ AND UNDERSTAND THE FOLLOWING IN-
STRUCTIONS. IT’S MANDATORY TO VERIFY THAT NO PEOPLE, ANIMALS OR THINGS ARE IN THE OPERATION AREA, TO AVOID
ANY POSSIBLE DAMAGES
HANDLING WITH FORKLIFT
Packaging is made by a wooden cage and a wooden pallet. The stove is fixed on the pallet (by two screws) all wrapped up by a trasparent
plastic film.
It’s mandatory the fork lift operator is authorized for this purpose. The stove packaging must be lifted exclusively by a fork lift apt to this use
and with necessary capacities (see.packaging weight and dimension marked fort each stove model) in accordante with the rules in force.
The moving operations must be done with extreme attention ,avoiding sharp manoeuvres and accelerations , assuring the forks come out
(Pic. 1 - Ref. 14) from the opposite pallet side. After havign positioned the packaging on a flat and steady surface , proceed with the stove
unpacking as follow:(YOU ARE RECOMMENDED TO DISPOSE THE PACKAGING AS PER RULES IN FORCE):
THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS MUST BE DONE EXCLUSIVELY BY 4 AUTHORIZED OPERATORS.
1) Take the wooden cage out (Pic.1 - Ref.2). 2) Remove the protecting film 3) Slow the screws of one side panels. 4) Take the side panels
down and positioning to avoid any possible dameges neither creating operation obastacles. 5) Unscrew totally the two screw which fix the
stove to the pallet. 6) Mount the 4 adjustable feet on the stove base underside (for model LUNA, PRIMAVERA). 7) The four authorized
operators, set out along the four stove sides (Fig. 2), lift it up bringing the stove away from the wooden pallet carefully 8) Put the stove in
the working place 9) Replace the side panels and tighten the fixing screws.10) Proceed with the installation according to Chapter 5 of the
use and maintenance manual.

It’s mandatory to follow the instruction reported on the “ Instruciton for installation use and maintenance manual” (see chap.4) located in the fire door.
