I would like to express my intent in applying for the position of a Social Science
teacher should there be a need for it.
I believe that my degree in Bachelor in Secondary Education (BSED) major in Social
Studies from the Bulacan State University – College of Education and my teaching
experience as a student teacher in Bulacan State University – Laboratory High school
has prepared me for this position through seminars, workshops, and innovative 21st
century teaching. I believe that I am equipped with the necessary knowledge and
skills to help develop and enhance the learning skills of the students of this institution.
Being a student teacher at the Bulacan State University Laboratory High School, I
have learned how to deal with the students. I have also tried different teaching
strategies for my diverse students because I believe that each of my student is unique.
I have learned how to manage my time to enhance my expertise. More importantly, I
had the opportunity to be mentored with seasoned professionals who taught me a
valuable of things I need to improve my competencies, how to be a professional
teacher, and different teaching strategies for the betterment of the students. Also, I
have acquainted myself with a wide range of skills that allow me to blend with the
faculty members and to continuously strive to reach common goals which is to
produce globally competitive students.
I would like to be part of the this academic institution because I believe that it will
enhance my competencies in teaching for the betterment of my career and to help
produce more globally competitive graduates as stated by the goals and objectives of
the university.
