SUBJECT Nominees to the Public Management Development Program (PMDP)
Middle Managers Class - Batch 19

‘The Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) is now accepting nominations of high
performing and high potential personnel occupying Salary Grade 20-24 positions who
are 50 years old and below, at least two years in the Commission, for the above-
captioned program which will open on September 14, 2018.
Relative thereto, may we request you to submit at least two nominees from your
Sector/Cluster/Office who meet the above-mentioned criteria.
‘The program offers full government scholarship delivered in 11 months and is divided
into two phases. The Residential Phase has three parts: a rigorous Training in DAP
Tagaytay, a 10-day Sensing Journey in a rural community and Re-Entry Project (ReP)
development, spread over 5 months with 1-week monthly working breaks. During these
breaks, local transportation expenses going to Tagaytay and to the work station of the
approved scholar and vice versa, is charged against the funds of the Central/Regional
Office to which the scholar belongs. After this period, scholars will return to their
respective offices to implement their Re-Entry Projects (ReP) which DAP will monitor for
three to four months. Scholars who satisfy all academic requirements shall be conferred
a Master’s Degree in Development Management (MDM) by DAP.

submitted to the SB Secretariat, Professional Development Office (PDO), this Sector
