PROGRAM PROPOSAL

First we grouped into two

pairs, we proposed the “Placement

Program”. The Placement Program is

the action of putting someone or

something in a particular place or

the fact of being placed. The action of finding a home, job or school or

someone. A Placement program for 12th graders will help us to know

who will pursue college, work, entrepreneurship, or higher level skill

development training IV (NC3 and NC4).

This program help the Students’ enhanced career decision-making,

Students’ skills developed for greater career advancement and maximized

career options, Students’ well- informed about the career choices, Helped

students learn how to dress, communicate and interact/socialize with

others properly if they choose college and lastly, Taught students how to

proper face the interviewer for college application, for work and getting

hired and for application for banks, other lending institutions for

business start-ups. During the proposal we got nervous because the

three panels in front of us are the two Guidance Counselors and the

Principal of Mangaldan National High School. We gave our best to propos

properly and to answered all the questions. I’m very thankful to our

assistant Guidance Counselor to help us in this proposal; she’s the one

who taught us on how to make a program. After the nervous minutes we

succeed.
INTAKE INTERVIEW

One of the students of Mangaldan

National High School are gave punishment.

First I asked her informational background

after that I need to get her attention and

comfortable with me and asked her what’s her problem, issues and

concerns. According to her, one of her issues is her relationship with her

best friend. Every time she and her best friend have a

misunderstanding/ miscommunication issue, they suddenly don’t

mind each other, they are like strangers the whole day. That is the

reason, that sometimes she’s afraid to tell her bad/negative feelings,

emotions, thoughts and problems to her best friend. So, she keeps her

problems to herself.

Another one was when her teacher got mad at her even though she

was not laughing so loud during the class hour and her teacher decided

to take her in the Guidance Office. I gave her advice and

recommendations.

Intake Interview

This student has three issues about his

classmates and also his subject teacher.

According to him, One of him issues are, his

classmates always pushed/joked him to a girl

(in the other section) that he doesn’t like/not his crush. One day, the girl

happened to visit their classroom, all of his classmates shouted and

laughed so loud in front of him as if they are trying to pair him with the

girl. He was pissed off with this kind of trip. One time he was not able to
control his emotions, and that he hit and dislodged the chairs in front of

him.

Another one was that he decided to skip in his TLE subject

because his subject teacher always instructed him to buy a snack for

the teacher with his money. According to him, His teacher said “Bilili ka

lang ng meryenda ko ipapasa na kita at bibigyan kita ng 90 na grade”.

He doesn’t agree with this kind of approach so that he decided to tell this

issue to his adviser and his parents, but then his subject teacher got

mad at him. From then on, every time he will enter his TLE Subject,

there was a feeling of nervousness and preferred to skip.

And the third one was his classmates tried to borrowed his gate

pass and photocopied it. He doesn’t want to give it but then his

classmate insisted. The school guard noticed that he and his classmate

have the same gate pass, so the guard decided to bring them to the

guidance office.

I gave him some advises and recommendations about his concerns

and issues.

CONDUCTING A TEST

During the conducting, I

observed that some students are

serious in this test especially in

higher section, and all of them are

listening to my instruction. And I’ve noticed that some students in lower

sections are not totally serious in every item. They are noisy and also

they are not listening and participating to what I’ve said to them. As a

psychology student and intern OJT in this school, I have a long patience
and understanding to all students that I encountered. I’ve noticed that

some students in Grade Seven are slow learners, they’re difficult in

reading and writing also. I approach them if they want improve their

ability in reading.

For Grade eight students, I observed that they are serious in

answering the test especially in the star/higher section. They are grade

conscious, after the checking some of them are very happy when they got

Superiority and Above Average. Most of them got Average especially in

Middle Sections. I explain to them that the Intelligence Quotient Test is

no failing in passing mark since it is used to determine measurement of

abilities.

We encountered many personalities inside the Mangaldan national High

School but them we have a lot of patience and understanding.


REVITALIZED HOMEROOM
GUIDANCE PROGRAM

Group Dynamics can be used as a means

for problem-solving, team work, and to

become more innovative and productive as an organization as whole. The

concept will provide you with the strengths, success factors and

measures of group dynamics, along with other professional tools. We

start the group dynamics in month of March, we assigned in every year

levels from Grade Seven, Eight, Nine and Ten.

In our first activity entitled Self-Awareness. This game is the

capacity for introspection and the ability to recognize oneself as an

individual separate from the environment and other individuals and

being aware of one’s environment and body and lifestyle, self-awareness

is how an individual consciously knows and understand their own

character, feelings, motives, and desires.

This activity test my patience and understanding to the students

who very hyper and very naughty but in the end of our activity are enjoy

and unforgettable.

SEMINAR OF ANTI-BULLYING
CAMPAIGN
“CPP ANTI-BULLYING PROGRAM AND

CHILD PROTECTION CAMPAIGN”

“Am I brothers, sisters keeper?”


This seminar required all students in Mangaldan National High

School, held at FEA Hall. This kind of seminar helped the students on

how to be good leaders/students in Mangaldan National High School.

Taught them to be a responsible, caring for others and discipline inside

or outside the campus. We explain to them about the meaning of

bullying because some of them know how to bully. We assigned to

speak/talked in front of many students. Though we got little bit nervous

but we made it.

During the seminar some students are interested in the topic that

we prepared some of them are not. They get bored and sleepy. They

enjoyed the topic one because this part is enjoyable. All of them are

raising their hands and laughing. I enjoyed speak in front of many

students even though they are not totally listening especially in lower

year.

And the end this seminars are applicable to all students, I

appreciate those students who apply the topic that we shared to them.

Three student’s from Grade seven who returned the cellphone in

Guidance Office. I’ll hope that all students learned how to be a

responsible inside and outside the campus.


SOCIAL RESEARCH

We, the Grade VII On the-Job-

Training (OJT) Group made a simple

research on the Social Support

System/s of the Grade VII students.

Our respondents are Section Brocka,

Amorsolo and Garnet. We had 95 respondents and all of them were

willing to answer the items.

Facing problems is not EASY you don’t even know how to open up

about your situations to other people. I've come to realize that problems

are really part of life and it makes life worth living. Problems challenge us

and give us the opportunity to experience things we've never done before

and learn things that we do not know in the past. Problems give us the

chance to surprise ourselves. Just the word "problem" can make us

panic. Everyone has challenges in life whether it’s in school or in their

homes and we all go through a difficult challenge at one point in our life.

In school students experience different problems like being

unprepared during quizzes, unmade home works and assignments,

being late in school due to traffic, pangs and angst on inconsiderate

teachers and classmates, bullying , judgments of others due to our looks

leading to poor body image, financial status, and unlovable personalities,

and many others.


COUNSELING

Counseling is the provision of assistance and

guidance in resolving personal, social,

psychological problems and difficulties. In our site

this is my first time to encounter some students

who always fighting physically and verbally. I as a

psychology students and intern OJT in this school

they required us to counsel every students who had

misunderstanding. The pictures above are fighting

physically because of cellphone.

This two boys they can’t control their emotions so that they are

fighting physically and verbally. So, I gave them advice and the guidance

counselor gave them punishment.

FIELD DEMONSTRATION OF
GRADE 7- GRADE 12

Filed Demonstrations is the

unwaiting day of our students here at

Mangaldan National High School,

they look so fresh and excited to start

the competition. They are all

prepared and the unique costumes that they wear.

Thousands of students who gave their best to achieved and

finished this kind of activity. Our scheduled of Group Dynamics are

suspended because of this program. We’re proud of them, after weeks of


practice even though it’s so hot, they continued to make steps and make

it perfect. We gave them a round of applause and congratulate them.

GIVING A HEART SHAPE FOR THE TEACHERS AND FACULTIES

This one is special day to

everyone; we gave them small heart

shape to all teachers, faculty and

staff of Mangaldan National High

School, they appreciate our simple

effort for them. They gave us big

smile and take a selfie and groufie with them. For me every day is special

day because we need to share our love and care to everyone and also our

love ones. Spread the love that we have and be thankful to this love give

from above. We are all happy in this event because in the afternoon we

celebrate the valentines day with our Guidance counselor. We ate a lot

and set up like a boodle fight.

Every day is a special day in our life. Give break and share

the love!
