INTERVIEW
Grab a cocktail and listen to Rob Grimm and Erik Almås talk about the industry, their early beginnings, and life
in general. It’s a great way to spend an hour! Also don’t forget to watch the wrap up thoughts from Erik on the
entire process of becoming a photographer and what you should do moving forward!

Let us know what you learned from the interview with a quick quote tweeted to @rggedu and @erikalmas on
Instagram and Twitter!

RETOUCHING
ELEMENTS
The Retouching Elements folder contains the TIFF backplates and RAW images for you to begin your
retouching journey. Start here once you are ready to retouch along with Erik while he is retouching and
afterwards when you are ready to begin your journey. You will notice that some shoots do not include the
already created backplates. This is to encourage you to start from scratch and completely create your image
from scratch.

If you are new to composites, we encourage you to simply watch and take notes the first time to digest the
entire process. Then, once you are more comfortable, practice along with Erik and attempt to build your own
backplate using the process that Erik taught in the tutorial.
